How to care for sansevieria?
As a container for growing sansevieria, you must definitely give preference to a pot made of ceramic material with very thick walls. It is necessary to transplant sansevieria for the first time in a year and a half after planting, and then it will be enough to repeat the procedure every three years.
If flowers grow in very spacious boxes and containers, then only the top layer of the earth can be replaced. When transplanting, flower growers often also divide the bush.
Since it is not difficult to create an excellent soil content, you can independently create favorable soil conditions for growing sansevieria. To do this, you need to take leafy soil, humus, sand and peat in equal proportions. Then two more pieces of turf are added here. Foam balls or expanded clay are used as a drainage layer. There are many signs and beliefs regarding sansevieria. For example, it is believed that if a plant has bloomed, then this can be considered a blessing for a new business, which will certainly become successful. But it is not considered such luck if the plant blooms in the winter season.
Sansevieria is usually watered with soft water, it is best if it is rain-fed. It is not necessary to carry out the procedure very often, since the flower does not require abundant moisture. In winter, watering can be avoided altogether, and at other times of the year, the sequence of the operation depends on the drying out of the soil. In the summer, the plant is fertilized twice a season. Mainly, the products should contain components such as phosphorus and potassium. Excess nitrogen can provoke negative effects, ensuring the risk of root rot and loss of plant attractiveness.
Lighting in the care of these plants also takes an important place. It affects the patterns that are located on the leaves of the flower. With too little light, the leaves become dull and gloomy. However, due to the excess light on the leaves, the yellowing process occurs. In the winter period, it is necessary to ensure additional lighting is required.
The optimum temperature for the normal development and growth of a flower is fourteen degrees and above.
In the rooms where sansevieria are grown, it is necessary to avoid skews, sudden changes in temperature. During flowering, the plant begins to exude a scent that vaguely resembles vanilla.

If there are even rotting zones on the leaves, it means that the earth is experiencing excess moisture. Therefore, the measures that the florist can take are to reduce the frequency of watering, remove damaged areas on the leaves, and treat wounds. Elongated and shriveled leaves also indicate a lack of light. If the tips turn yellow or dry, you might think about the cold, too frequent watering or lack of lighting.
