Water pipes

Water supply

Let's start by installing a water source and laying a plumbing. There are two options: a well and a well. Your choice will depend on your preferences and income. If you plan to do it yourself, then you need to have an idea of the technologies and take into account the laboriousness of the process. The place is usually chosen arbitrarily, according to the layout of the site. It will not be difficult to stretch pipes or hoses to the house in the future.

The water supply can be arranged using a pumping station. There is no need to be afraid of such a sonorous name, since such devices are small, compact and easy to assemble. After the installation of the station, no human intervention is required, the water supply is automatic. The user just needs to open the tap and the system instantly responds to the supply of water pressure.

Heating water

If a source is available, heating is provided without problems. There are enough options, it is important to think about how to install and mount. The easiest way is to use an electric water heater (boiler).

For 4 residents, a storage tank of 50 liters is quite enough, it is easily suspended, does not take up much space. With the help of metal-plastic pipes, the boiler can be connected to the bathroom and the kitchen. If you have an autonomous gas supply, you can choose gas water heaters or buy a double-circuit boiler.

Sewerage

The issue of water drainage is no less important than its availability. There are only two drainage collection systems: a septic tank or a drain pit, which is made of concrete rings or an iron container buried to a selected depth. Some lay out a hole inside with a brick, with gaps left (in a checkerboard pattern). This allows water to spontaneously seep into the ground and does not require further maintenance in the form of pumping.

If you want to filter the spent water, choose a septic tank. This is a system of several tanks, allowing liquids to settle from impurities and solid waste. This option is chosen if a toilet is connected to the bath drain. Having decided on the place of drainage, you need to lay pipes for the sewage system. This plastic is of sufficient diameter, with reliable fasteners. The transitional knees have a different angle of departure. For the riser, they are usually selected with a diameter of 5 cm from polypropylene or PVC. To turn the drain, it is required to arrange a bend, using elbows of at least 45 degrees, otherwise blockages will form.

The sewerage system is assembled like a constructor and laid in the ground. Hanging structures can be created under the house or simply left on the surface. If year-round residence is assumed, then the pipes are equipped with an insulation circuit.

Ventilation

High humidity, the development of harmful bacteria and mold are guaranteed without ventilation holes. If there is no window in the room, ventilation is necessary; it can be made forced or natural. Regardless of the system chosen, a hole with a diameter of 10-15 cm is made in the wall, stepping back 10-20 cm from the ceiling.

Large sizes are unacceptable here, since the room will be cooled down in cool weather. For this purpose, ventilation is arranged with an adjustable diffuser or a closing mechanical shutter on a vertical handle. Such a device will allow you to regulate the ventilation process.

Forced ventilation will require mounting in the fan exhaust and electrical wiring. Such a system will require more effort during installation, but it works efficiently, provides good circulation and ensures that there is no moisture.
