And in the absence of the above assistants, you can safely resort to the help of garlic, onions, radishes or apple cider vinegar. The juice of garlic, radish or onion is often rubbed directly into the skin, and some summer residents go even further and additionally use special garlic tablets or periodically "feast on" peeled garlic cloves. The aforementioned apple cider vinegar is also applied to the skin. And if you start to regularly include it in your diet, the body will gradually acquire the subtle aroma of this useful product, which in turn will also repel mosquitoes.

How to minimize mosquito attacks on the site?

To minimize the number of mosquitoes on the site, first of all, it is necessary to destroy all possible places suitable for their reproduction. Since these insects need stagnant water to lay eggs, it makes sense to start the fight precisely by draining its sources - puddles, buckets, old cans or flower pots, etc. But the pond on the site should not be drained - as a rule, such reservoirs are always attracted to dragonflies, which are the worst enemies of mosquitoes.

Also, in order to keep mosquitoes from the site as far as possible, you can put a small amount of sage or rosemary on the coals - the smoke emanating from them is endowed with the ability to quickly drive away harmful mosquitoes.

Itching and biting - how to deal with it?

In order to quickly get rid of the swelling resulting from mosquito bites, it is recommended to cool the areas around these bites - if you apply a cold compress to these areas, the capillaries located under the skin surface will narrow, and the swelling will become noticeably less.

But if you start combing the bite sites, it will only get worse! In the event that the itching is completely unbearable, it is better to rub the bites with meat broth or lemon juice. Garlic, mashed to a puree state, also helps to cope with this kind of symptoms. Also, if the bite sites itch very much, you can lubricate them with white vinegar, but pouring it on the abrasions is strictly not recommended.
