Autumn is perhaps the most beautiful time of the year. Not all summer plants have bloomed yet, but autumn flowers and tree foliage are already beginning to delight us, changing colors. Colors change very quickly, because autumn has only 1, 5-2 months in stock, and even then, if the weather permits. This is not a spring-summer walk for you. Asters

Astra is the true queen of autumn. These "star" flowers are one of the main decorations of the autumn garden. Having begun flowering in mid-August, they will delight us until the end of September with an abundance of shapes, sizes and shades.

Asters will remind us of the first school call, the joy of meeting friends after a long summer vacation, a strict teacher with silver in her hair. Today, such silver adorns our heads, but school years are always in our memory.

Marigold

Unpretentious marigolds continue to bloom. Their strong bushes saturated with yellow, orange and red colors are green in summer. They continue to guard against pests of not yet fully harvested vegetables.

Euonymus

The relay of the red foliage begins with the euonymus. Its small pale-colored inflorescences, turning euonymus into a nondescript plant in summer, transform into scarlet, yellow, crimson, pink, burgundy or dark purple fruit-boxes in autumn. Opening, the capsules reveal purple seeds. If the birds do not have time to peck the seeds in a couple of months, the euonymus will stand in this outfit until December.

Remember that beauty can be dangerous. Many species of euonymus are poisonous.

Dahlias

The kingdom of dahlias triumphs. Among them, one of the most beautiful flowers is the dahlia-saintbrin. They will decorate the garden until the first frost.

Ornamental cabbage

The onset of cold weather does not frighten ornamental cabbage. On the contrary, its lilac or white core only gets brighter the colder the air gets. She seems to enter into confrontation with the cold, provoking him with her beautiful heads of cabbage.

Colchicum

The funnel-shaped colchicums rose from the ground. Single flowers remind of the coming winter.

These plants are very poisonous. Juice from damaged bulbs causes burns on the skin. You can also get poisoned by the ground parts of the plant. Even the water in the jug containing the flowers turns into poisonous. Be careful while admiring the beauty of the fall bloom.

Montbrecia

Montbrecia, crocosmia or autumn gladiolus gradually dissolves its graceful flowers from the bottom up, which are smaller in size than that of gladioli. One peduncle holds 7-9 simultaneously blossoming flowers.

For the winter, the plant is covered with dry leaves or a layer of shavings. Plants overwintered in the ground are more vigorous and bloom longer. It is advisable to dig up varietal montbreces for the winter in late autumn, before the onset of severe frosts.

Nasturtium

Small flowers of orange nasturtium still sparkle among the foliage. But as soon as the thermometer drops to the number "0", they will sink and die.

One-year celosis

Small orange, bright red, burgundy tassels of celosi, resembling tongues of flame, will decorate the garden until the first frost. It is now too late to add leaves and shoots to salads, as you did when the leaves were young and tender. But you can collect metallic shiny seeds from the fruit pod. Celosium oil is extracted from the seeds, which softens, moisturizes and nourishes the skin. Roses

The second wave of flowering covered more green rose bushes. Of course, before the summer feast, flowering cannot keep up, but the aroma continues to fill the dacha, attracting insects.

Phlox

The aroma and splendor of inflorescences have not yet lost the multi-colored phloxes - first-class decorators of front gardens, flower beds, lawns.

Chrysanthemums

Short-term frosts up to minus 7 degrees do not frighten the chrysanthemum that has already begun to bloom. Its mass flowering will be by the end of September, but today there is something to admire the summer resident.

Wildflowers

Yarrow, tansy, violets, chamomile, bells hold firmly.
