The largest venue of the Golden Autumn will open in the heart of the capital - on Red Square. Going there, the guests of the festival will find themselves in the middle of a rural landscape: they will see a Russian field with ears of grain, a wild garden where trees and berries grow, a pasture with wooden sculptures of animals, an apiary with real beehives and an amazing mill decorated with graffiti with scenes from the studio's cartoons. Soyuzmultfilm ". Muscovites and tourists will be able to visit the exhibition of art objects in the form of various models of tractors, trucks and grain harvesters, and the zone of "smart" technologies will acquaint them with innovations in Russian agriculture: navigation systems, "smart" fertilization and data analysis for making forecasts and strategies; AIoT platforms and applications for monitoring data coming from sensors; drones for monitoring the state of fields and harvesting and much more.
A series of exciting gastronomic shows will be held on Red Square: their participants will prepare dishes from seasonal products under the guidance of chefs, competing for the title of chief culinary specialist of the fall. Popular folk groups will perform on the stage: Folkbeat, which works in the style of ethno-electronics, Partizan FM, performing Cossack and author's songs, and many others. And since autumn is a time of bright colors, guests of the festival will be pleased with floral shows from the TRIDVORNOVA ART bureau.
Many interesting creative activities are organized for children: master classes on cooking traditional dishes from different regions of Russia, creating original carpets, handicrafts from wood and vines, knitting and embroidery.
A cozy autumn town will open on Revolution Square. In patterned houses - trade and restaurant chalets - you can buy “delicious” souvenirs - gifts of the harvest from all over Russia, and choose original dishes from a special menu prepared by Moscow restaurateurs. From the stage of the site, ethnic music will be streamed in a modern way, and a picturesque track will appear nearby, where radio-controlled tractor races will be held!
You can learn more about the history of agriculture at the exhibition "The Evolution of Traction Power: From Plow to Modern Machines", which will unfold at the transition from Manezhnaya Square to Revolution Square. 21 exhibits will be presented to the attention of visitors: these are rare tractors made in the USSR (and modern Russia), the USA, Italy, Germany and Austria. They are brought to the festival site in the very center of Moscow by the Scientific and Technical Museum of the History of the Tractor (Cheboksary).
Having examined all the exhibits at the Golden Autumn exhibition, you will study almost a century in the history of tractor construction! The oldest car on display is a Fordson tractor, built in 1917. And the most modern machine of all that can be seen on the site - Vladimir 2032-10 (Vladimir Tractor Plant, Russia) - was assembled in 2005. Other unusual machines include the John Deere D tractor (Deer & company, USA, 1924); the John Deere D engine was particularly noisy, for which the farmers nicknamed this tractor "Popping Johnnie"; arable wheeled tractor STZ 15/30 (Stalingrad Tractor Plant, 1931) - the first example of domestic machine-building products produced by the conveyor method; "DT-54" (Volgograd Tractor Plant, 1947) - the first domestic arable tracked tractor with a diesel engine.
Another "Golden Autumn" site in the Central Administrative District will work on Shkolnaya Street! Every day, here, in two animation chalets, free master classes will await guests. At the Mosaic School, we will learn how to create panels in a variety of styles: from pop art to classics. And in open painting lessons, we will draw landscapes and still lifes. And at the same time we will master the body painting technique and thoroughly “pump” attention to details! Themes of handicrafts and drawings are the most autumnal: a wheat field, rowan twigs, maple leaves, a colorful autumn forest, colorful pumpkins, pomegranates and oranges … And, of course, the resulting masterpieces can be taken and presented to family or friends!
It will be no less interesting at the district sites! This year, at 10 festival locations in different districts of Moscow, a unique "historical" program was prepared with the participation of 1,500 reenactors in the images of residents of various eras and countries. Each playground promises a variety of exciting activities. More than 1,850 open history lessons and educational interactive programs await visitors!
So, on Svyatoozerskaya Street you will be transported to the settlement of Dyakovites who lived in the territories of Moscow, Tver, Vladimir, Smolensk, Ivanovo and other Russian regions from the 7th century BC to the 5th century AD, get acquainted with their crafts and cuisine. Masquerade balls in the spirit of the European Middle Ages will be held on Gorodetskaya Street, and they will teach jewelry and drinking habits of that time. A small Mediterranean port town of the 19th century will appear on Orekhovy Boulevard, which will be interesting to everyone who is fond of maritime affairs, history and geography. They will have classes on navigational and shipping, navigation on nautical charts, Morse code and, of course, Mediterranean cuisine! The site on Pererva Street will tell about the agrarian revolutions, the care of livestock in different eras, the evolution of tools and land cultivation technologies. Guests of the site on Matveyevskaya Street will immerse themselves in the art of the Art Nouveau era, visitors to the site on Profsoyuznaya will go on the "Kropotkin expedition", and residents and guests of Zelenograd will be able to see the warriors of the Pushkarsky order, clerks, cooks and musicians from the time of Alexei Mikhailovich Tishaishiy, the second Russian tsar of the Romanov dynasty.
And so that visitors will have the brightest photos in memory of the festival - more than 2000 kg of pumpkins are used to decorate the surrounding grounds!
