They just perfectly knew the great cleansing power of simple natural remedies that can always be found at hand in every home

Mustard

Cheap dry powder of yellow or amber shade. A well-known natural fat burner, condiment, spice. It was with mustard, until expensive chemical powders were invented, that our ancestors washed, washed, cleansed everything in their house.

Dry mustard can be used as a dry detergent for cleaning kitchen sinks, stoves and dishes. When cleaning the bathroom, mustard is also great for cleaning the toilet and the bath itself. We put rubber gloves on our hands, sprinkled some powder on a sponge and rinsed out all the plumbing in the bathroom. In this case, mustard not only cleanses, but also disinfects the surface of objects in the bathroom.

The tiles in the kitchen and bathroom should be washed like this with mustard. Dilute the mustard powder with water to a porridge state and apply a thin layer to the tiles. Let it dry a little for about 10 minutes and rinse with plain warm water.

If an unpleasant smell appears in kitchen jars, dishes, pans, which does not disappear by anything, rub them from the inside with mustard powder, and you can simply pour it into jars, bottles, thermos and shake them. Then rinse off the powder with a stream of water.

Baking soda

Another safe home cleaning product is baking soda. It cleans well (much better than household chemicals) plaque on the sink in the bathroom and in the kitchen, on and inside the kettle, on tiles, on cups and glasses. It is difficult to find a more reliable remedy against rust stains and rust on various surfaces.

Soda can be used simply by sprinkling it on a dishwashing sponge and wiping it over soiled areas or as a gruel diluted with water. In this case, the soda turns into a cleansing paste that absorbs fats. If the kitchen sink is clogged and water does not come out well, pour 5 tablespoons of baking soda into the drain hole, pour 100 ml of vinegar on top, cover with a lid to block the drain. After two minutes, pour hot water into the sink, the blockage will go away.

Citrus fruit

Not only can citrus fruits be delicious and beneficial to the body with their high fiber and vitamin content, but they can also help with housekeeping. You can, for example, clean the inside of a microwave oven with an orange or tangerine peel. To do this, after eating the fruits themselves, put a few crusts from them inside the oven, turn on the oven for five minutes to the usual cooking mode. Turn off, remove the peel, and wipe the inside of the oven with a dry cloth for cleaning the house. This procedure not only cleans the microwave, but also fills it with a pleasant citrus aroma.

Any citrus peel can be used to disinfect and refresh the air in the living area. To do this, cut fresh fruit crusts, put them in a spray bottle, add water on top and spray the product into the air in the rooms.

If there is a lot of scale inside, you need to squeeze more lemon juice inside the kettle, pour some water into it and boil it, let it stand and remove the scale with a brush. It will quickly separate from the walls of the kettle after a lemon bath.

In field and country conditions

Do not forget, when we are in the country, that sand, clay or a mixture of these products serves as an excellent cleaning agent for pots, pots, and kitchen utensils. Make yourself a washcloth from nylon products that you can use and throw away after cleaning without accumulating bacteria in them.

Country pots can also be great at cleaning ash from a stove or campfire and horsetail in a mixture. The latter contains vegetable acid, which will cleanse stubborn dirt. And the ash will serve as a scrub brush and hard cleaning of dirty dishes.
