Rod Snowberry

The genus Snowberry (Symphoricarpos) has a couple of dozen deciduous shrubs in its ranks, growing up to 2.5 meters in height. Bushes can be erect, directed into the heavens, or outstretched above the ground, with branches drooping under the weight of berry brushes.

The most common leaves, not decorated with a jagged edge or a special color, are oppositely located on the branches, holding onto them with short petioles. In summer, small racemose inflorescences of small flowers are born in the leaf axils, the bell-shaped or tubular corolla of which cannot boast of sophistication or brightness of color (flowers are white or pinkish).
