Fertilizers help us nourish plants and soil with all the necessary substances and get a rich harvest. Since ancient times, they have been indispensable helpers for improving the structure of the soil and the full growth of horticultural and horticultural crops. Currently, you can find a huge amount of a wide variety of fertilizers on store shelves, so choosing the most suitable option will not be difficult
Mineral fertilizers
Mineral fertilizers are inorganic compounds enriched with all the elements necessary for the full development and growth of plants. It is customary to distinguish between single-component, or simple, and complex mineral fertilizers.
The group of mineral fertilizers includes micronutrient fertilizers, as well as potash, phosphorus and nitrogen fertilizers.
As a rule, gardeners and gardeners prefer complex mineral fertilizers, because they contain at least two nutrients, and sometimes more. True, you should not abuse mineral fertilizers (however, like any others) - this can lead to a result that is completely opposite to what was expected.
Organic fertilizers
Organic fertilizers contain exclusively natural ingredients. These include manure, compost, bird droppings, sapropel (also called green fertilizer), straw, peat, wood shavings and sawdust, as well as some other household waste. The most common organic fertilizer is, of course, manure. This useful material does not require serious financial costs and is available to almost every gardener. It is especially often used in the cultivation of celery, rutabagas, onions, carrots and many other crops.
Bird droppings are no less popular, but many summer residents are afraid to use it for the simple reason that litter diluted in the wrong proportions can harm growing crops.
Bacterial fertilizers
Bacterial fertilizers are preparations that significantly improve the nutrition of cultivated plants. Despite the fact that they do not contain any nutrients in their composition, they are enriched with all kinds of soil microorganisms that help to strengthen the biochemical processes and root nutrition of plants. The most popular bacterial fertilizers are azotobacterin, nitragin and phosphorobacterin.
Choose the right fertilizer, and your garden plot will surely thank you with rich harvests!
