In the last article, we sorted out what fertilizers made at home are for. In this part, we will proceed directly to the process of preparing fertilizers.

Let's look at liquid fertilizers first. To prepare them, we need some kind of container, the volume of which will depend only on how much of the final product we need to get.

1. Fertilizer from chopped grass

This is an excellent organic fertilizer, easy to prepare and practically cost-free, since we need any grass to get the final result, weeds are perfect (that is, we "kill two birds with one stone": we clear the garden and feed the soil). Grind the grass, then put it in a container, add water and leave for several weeks. The only thing that is still required of us is to occasionally stir this mixture. After 5-6 weeks we filter the infusion, dilute it with water (the amount of water depends on the concentration of the fertilizer) and water the plants, avoiding the ingress of liquid on the leaves.

There is another option for preparing this fertilizer, a faster one. We fill the previously prepared container with chopped weeds, then fill it with water, but not to the brim, so that the fermented mass does not overflow. Then we tightly cover with cling film, absolutely excluding the access of oxygen to our future fertilizer. We put it in a warm place and forget about our capacity for 2 weeks. When opening the fertilizer, do not be alarmed: the liquid will have a sharp unpleasant odor, which, by the way, repels pests. For watering, you need to dilute the liquid in a 1: 2 ratio.

2. Infusion of manure

To prepare this type of fertilizer, we need a container, water and manure. In this case, when preparing the nutrient solution, you need to adhere to the following proportions: we take 3 parts of water for one part of manure. We mix all this and let it brew for several days. Ash can be added to the infusion before watering.

By the way, if this solution is diluted with water in a ratio of 1 part of the solution to 2 parts of water, then it can be sprayed with plants, since the bacteria that multiply in the infusion perfectly destroy powdery mildew spores.

3. Nettle fertilizer

We take nettles, preferably without seeds, and put them in a container. Pour ten parts of water onto one part of the nettle. Then we leave to insist for a week or two. That's it, fertilizer is ready. We breed it in a 1: 2 ratio and water the plants.

By the way, it is this fertilizer that is universal. They can water plants not only in the garden and in the country, but also at home. That is, this solution is an excellent nutritional supplement for indoor flowers.

In addition, the infusion of nettle can be used to spray plants, this agent perfectly protects against spider mites. And makes the leaves less susceptible to sunburn.

4. Fertilizer from chicken manure

This fertilizer should be used very carefully and only the root system should be watered! Care must be taken to ensure that the liquid does not get on the leaves of the plant, otherwise they will simply "burn". Also, you cannot water with a highly concentrated solution, this can ruin the plants.

So, pour ten parts of water into a previously prepared container, then pour out one part of chicken droppings. Then cover with a lid and let it brew for several days, stirring occasionally. Once the chicken droppings are completely dissolved, the fertilizer can be used.

Method of using this fertilizer: dilute 1 part of the resulting liquid with ten parts of water and water it. Top dressing is suitable for all types of plants.
