Grow well in confined spaces (cracks, alpine slides, stair steps). All varieties love the sun, and also grow successfully in partial shade, prefer fertile soil. Blossoming June - August. For edging the tracks, varieties of the Carpathian bell, Spiral-leaved, Spoon-leaved, Gargan, Zvezdchaty are suitable. The carpet types are especially popular: the Portenshlag Bell and the Stalkless Thistle.

Designed for dry soils and loves sunny areas. Has a creeping mass of bluish-bluish tint. During the flowering period, it gives out a peduncle up to 20 cm with pink buds. Prone to creeping. In a couple of years, it triples the coverage.

Shade-tolerant plant, poorly perceived the active sun. Possesses beautiful foliage, grows in small bushes (height 30 cm). Horny Goat Weed is an evergreen species.
