Installing doors in a country house - of course, this stage is started after the completion of all construction work. In the process of installing doors in a country house, two main ones should be distinguished: the first of which will include the front door, and the second - interior doors throughout the house.

The construction of a country house can be seen as a rather symbolic process. In this sense, the house is presented as a fortress, then the front door will become the gate of a real fortress. For a long time, country houses remained only a kind of warehouse of old furniture; they did not come to the country at all to spend time comfortably and conveniently in a house with a bright interior. However, now very many owners of country houses are striving to decorate a country house in the same stylish way as their own permanent home. Today, dachas have literally everything, from modern household appliances to high-quality and individual country furniture.

It is for the reason that a lot of rather valuable items will be stored in the dacha, so much attention is paid to the choice of the front door. Moreover, many people prefer to go to the dacha not only in the summer, but also in the colder season. In this case, the front door will serve not only as a reliable protection against unauthorized intrusions, but also against the cold. It should be noted that ordinary metal doors that are installed in apartments can hardly be called a good choice for a summer residence. After all, such doors are designed for a stable temperature regime, and in the country they can quickly lose their original qualities due to temperature changes, high humidity and constant contact with bright sunlight.

Of course, such doors will not be particularly reliable against the cold either. However, additional installation of a wooden door can be a solution to this problem.

So, as it becomes clear, the choice of an entrance door can hardly be called so simple. Of course, you have to, before giving preference to this or that option, you will have to provide a lot of functionality of the door. The correct choice of door fastening and the level of heat resistance of the door itself are one of the main parameters.

As for the heat resistance of the door, it must have two sealing contours. The door hinges must be such that adjustment of the door leaf position is permissible in three directions. Thanks to this functionality, the door will have maximum tightness. So, the box itself must be filled with heat-insulating material, and so that the canvas does not become a conductor of cold, then the optimal solution would be to close it with a panel of a special substrate made of any insulating material. For example, cork can serve as such material.

The presence of a cold vestibule will also help to keep warm, but this cannot always be realized in reality, because it all depends on the area of your building.

So, when choosing a door, you should take into account the type of box fastening, heat resistance and resistance to all kinds of damage.

Installation of interior doors in a country house

Actually, the interior doors are not as important as the front door. However, as an addition to the interior, doors are very important. The most budgetary option for such doors can be called doors made of a wooden frame, which was sheathed with hardboard on both sides. Of course, the appearance of such doors will be quite modest, but the savings will be very significant.

Paneled or classic doors - these options are distinguished by a higher cost. Such options are most often made from the following materials: MDF, chipboard and laminate. It should be noted that such modern materials are distinguished by their rather high strength and long service life, provided they are properly used.

The most expensive option will be high-quality solid wood doors, the appearance of which is incredibly stylish and solid. Such doors are usually chosen by the owners of expensive country houses.
