A country house is simply unthinkable without a good stove. And if it is planned to live in it throughout the year, then all the more so without a stove. Russian stove

The Russian stove is characterized by a rather large size, so it copes perfectly with the heating function. In addition, it is widely used for cooking. And you can always lie down on this beauty and warm yourself up.
Of course, it is desirable that experienced stove-makers be engaged in the device of such a stove, because correct and high-quality masonry implies taking into account numerous nuances and the presence of certain knowledge. If you have a desire to lay down the Russian stove yourself, but you are not sure that you will be able to successfully cope with this task, you can take an experienced stove-maker as your assistant, who will always give good advice and take over the management of the process of installing a warm stove.
In order to build a Russian stove with your own hands, you need to prepare bricks (ideally, ceramic red oven bricks), glue for underfloor heating and sand. To prepare the solution, one part of the glue is first mixed with one part of the sand, after which water is added and everything is thoroughly mixed - as a result, a homogeneous and sufficiently thick mass should form. Then waterproofing is laid on the ground and the foundation is laid. And after the first row is laid out, you should check the diagonals so that the future stove turns out to be even.
After laying the second row, you can attend to the installation of the door. And so that the masonry does not fall apart, heat-insulating material is placed around it. Basalt, stitched with glass thread and does not emit any harmful substances, is especially suitable for this purpose. The thermal insulation near the door must be fixed with bricks, and a place for the firebox is left in the middle of the stove.
The heat exchanger is best laid out "dry", even before the bricks are "planted" on the mortar. As a rule, it is covered with several layers of bricks. The main thing is not to forget to leave the exit from the future firebox. And the final touches will be the construction of a pipe with a valve. Basalt is also placed under the valve and on top of it, after which a pipe is laid out of the bricks greased with mortar. And you can start heating such a stove when the solution is completely dry, that is, somewhere in a couple of weeks.
Dutch stove
The people affectionately call this stove Dutch. With its relatively small size, it is characterized by excellent heat dissipation. Such a solid heat capacity is due to the structural features of the passages located in its pipe.
The basis of this stove is a one cubic meter foundation. Not every brick is suitable for masonry - it must be fireproof, because the temperature in the firebox is always very high. By the way, the device of one Dutch stove will require about eight hundred pieces of bricks (this is already taking into account the brick pipe). And as a solution, not sand with cement is used, but sand mixed with water with a solid concentration of clay. And clay, too, is far from suitable. At the end of the work, you can cover the stove with ceramic heat-resistant tiles - it will turn out much more convenient, hygienic and more beautiful.
How to decorate the stove
You can decorate the brickwork of the stove in a variety of ways. Stoves lined with natural stone look amazingly beautiful, however, when choosing this decoration option, it is important to take into account that in this case the stove will have less heat transfer.
If it is not part of the plans to cover the stove with a stone, then the masonry after it is completely dry must be plastered. As a rule, plaster is applied to a stove heated to fifty to sixty degrees. And when the plaster is dry, the stove will need to be whitewashed.
