Many summer residents cannot imagine a full-fledged rest without visiting a bathhouse. The stove is a kind of center of the bath, because it will directly depend on the stove how comfortable your stay in the bath will be. The furnaces have the duty to provide the required steam temperature and the required amount of water. The main properties will be the economy and safety of the bath.

This article will talk about how to choose the right stove for a bath and what types of stoves are available. Furnaces differ in device types, materials of construction and fuels.

Of course, the main function of the sauna stove is to create and maintain the desired temperature in the room. For this purpose, the use of heaters is suitable. At the heart of such a furnace is a furnace designed for burning fuel, as well as those stones that will retain their heat for a long time even after heating.

Based on the material, stoves are brick and metal. It should be noted right away that more space will be required for brick ovens, they will also be much heavier and for them you will have to equip a separate foundation. As for metal furnaces, they are very compact and do not need a massive foundation.

Based on the temperature of the outer walls, it is customary to subdivide the furnaces into "cold" and "hot", and according to the operating mode, the furnaces are with constant or periodic heating.

By the type of fuel, sauna stoves are gas and wood-burning: the latter option is also sometimes called solid fuel. However, now more and more often you can find electric furnaces, the heating of which is carried out by electricity.

So, stones are the main accumulator of heat in any sauna stove. For the same reason, such stoves are called heaters. With regard to the operating mode, such furnaces can be divided into batch and continuous furnaces. Continuous heaters are characterized by a small wall thickness and volume of the stones themselves.

The simplest stove, a stove, consists of the following elements: a body, an ash pan, a firebox, a grate, stones and a chimney. Modern models of such furnaces can be equipped with electric heating or run on gas fuel, with automatic regulation of the degree of heating. Wood-heated stoves are also acceptable: for such stoves, you will need to reliably separate the stones from the firebox using a cast-iron stove. Such a slab, among other things, will prevent soot from settling on the stones themselves. Batch furnaces, on the other hand, will become more massive because they will need to store much more heat. Heater stoves can be made of different materials: for example, brick or metal.

In recent years, electric heaters have become very popular. Such ovens exist and are equipped with a soft heating system. In this case, the heated air will not come into contact with soft stones, for the same reason, and there will be no unpleasant odor.

Wood-burning stoves are especially effective. Such a furnace is equipped with two walls, which is responsible for high-quality heating of the air: this is due to the fact that the air circulates in the channels between the walls.

A wood burning stove equipped with double walls for air circulation will consist of the following elements: ash pan, firebox, grate, chimney, chimneys, hot water pipe, housing, peephole and hot air slots. In order to obtain hot water, water tanks should be built into such heaters. This version of the oven seems to be the simplest: after all, it will be easy not only to install, but also does not require careful maintenance. Therefore, today many summer residents purchase just such stoves for their baths.
