Consider the popular materials from which the sauna stoves are made.

Metal ovens

Metal ovens have been gaining in popularity lately. Among the main advantages of such a furnace should be noted the simplicity of the entire structure and ease of installation. Also, for such a furnace, a massive foundation is not required.

Modern metal furnaces are produced both abroad and by domestic manufacturers. For the reliability of the entire structure, the body is made of heat-resistant steel.

Brick kilns

It is worth noting that such stoves are used very rarely, although earlier these stoves were literally in all baths. This circumstance can be explained by the fact that the installation of the furnace will require the help of a specialist, and this service will be quite expensive. In addition, a brick oven will require a solid foundation and a significant area. These ovens are not as compact as metal ovens.

However, these stoves also have undoubted advantages: this stove absorbs a very significant part of the heat, through which the bath will be heated later. Such a stove is capable of heating not only the steam room itself, but also all the other rooms of the bath.

Also, this stove is resistant to fires: after all, the surface of this stove is not able to warm up to significant temperatures.

Wood stoves

Wood stoves are most often chosen for small baths. This stove will consist of an ash pan, a stove, a chimney, a firebox and a grate, on which firewood will be laid.

Among other things, firewood is the most affordable material, so such a stove should be considered as an option more closely. Experts also recommend choosing grates made of cast iron for a wood-burning stove. These grates will last a long time and will be able to cope with the highest temperatures. Depending on the area of the bath, the volume of the firebox should also be chosen: this dependence is direct. The same circumstance applies to the number of stones in the stove. Actually, the main advantages in favor of choosing this furnace will be inexpensive fuel, compactness of the furnace itself and high temperatures.

Electric ovens

Recently, more and more people choose ovens equipped with electric heating elements. Electric ovens will consist of the following elements: electric heaters, heating control unit and stones.

These ovens are characterized by increased reliability and compactness. Among other things, electric ovens will allow you to choose the most suitable operating modes.

Such a stove can be placed not only on the floor, but also on the walls. Such a stove does not need to install a chimney and a chimney, which is led out through the ceilings and the roof itself above the roof. The electric stove also does not need firewood. Such an oven will save a lot of time on cleaning the ash pan, which is also unnecessary. The stove will not build up with soot and will not emit carbon monoxide. Finally, the presence of an electric oven will allow you not to learn how to use all kinds of dampers and blower.

However, an important drawback will be a very significant power consumption. The disadvantages of an electric oven include a short service life: after 5-6 years, you will have to replace the oven.

Gas ovens

In the event that there is no electricity on your site or you want to save it, as well as the constant availability of firewood seems problematic, then a gas stove will be an excellent option. After all, modern models of such furnaces can be connected directly to the cylinder where the liquefied gas is located.

In addition, such ovens will be quite inexpensive for subsequent operation. Of course, such furnaces also have disadvantages: do not forget that gas is an explosive substance. Among other things, a special permit is required to install a gas oven.
