Wooden gates - this option is also chosen by many summer residents. Wood is considered the most affordable material and the construction of such a gate will not be difficult. Actually, even a completely unprepared person can cope with this task. If you want to make a wooden gate, then you need a minimum of building materials. First of all, you have to purchase boards, you can choose planed ones. A hacksaw and a hammer are almost the only tools you need. The tree can be painted in any color of your choice, which will serve not only aesthetic purposes, but also serve as reliable protection of the tree. To protect the tree, you should also use special protective compounds.

Metal wickets are particularly diverse. However, at the same time, you should be prepared for quite large expenses. A classic will be a metal gate, made as a welded frame from a corner or pipe, where fittings are welded inside. Wrought iron will create the most aesthetically pleasing options. A metal gate with wrought iron elements will become a true decoration of your entire site.

The easiest way to build a wicket from a corrugated board. However, a competent choice of material also plays an important role here. Sheets of corrugated board should not be overly thin, and the color of the painted sheet should not be very bright. The sheets are attached to the frame, while this material should be screwed on from both sides. This will give you a sturdier design that is also very stylish.

Particular attention should be paid to the locking devices in your future gate. Of course, there are a great variety of locking methods, however, as well as the options for building a wicket. You can give preference to an ordinary padlock, or you can opt for a standard door lock. In addition, bolts and iron hooks are acceptable.
