In recent years, she began to get involved in the cultivation of daylilies. Lush bushes with fan-shaped leaves caught my attention in nursery catalogs. On the streets of our city, only one old variety of daylily, bright red, is often found. Modern representatives are radically different from this specimen. For comparison, I attach his photo.

For 3 years, I have collected on my site a whole collection of daylilies of more than 30 varieties. The hybrids of the latest generation with purple inserts, bright pink rays running down from the center to the edge of the petal, look especially beautiful. Slightly corrugated edges give them a special charm. Marvel at the pretty, freshly blossomed Indian Gever bud.

Bright yellow, sunny inflorescences of a representative of this class are striking in their size - 15 cm in diameter. The green throat merges smoothly into the maroon center. The edging along the edge of the petal of the same color gives a certain solemnity. Before us is a variety of Spanish selection El Desperado, which means "desperate".

The fiery red hue of the Monti Carlo Red daylily is visible from afar. It creates a striking contrast in the flowerbed, drawing everyone's attention. It is impossible to pass by and not admire the freshly blossomed buds.

Miniature daylilies of the first generation are no less attractive. Usually the diameter of the peduncles is 8-10 cm. A huge amount on one bush gives the effect of many flashlights. Due to this, flowering lasts much longer than that of large varieties.
