The excursion program of "Moscow Maslenitsa" includes two new routes at once: "New Bozhedomka: history in faces" and "Moscow in the cinema. Take one ".

Festival guests will have a great opportunity to stroll through the very center of our capital and visit

in the filming locations of your favorite Soviet films. The guide will reveal the details of the work on the set, remember the curious cases and the famous movie bloopers. You will find out for the filming of which film the Kremlin stars were extinguished, why ten trucks of snow were brought to the territory of the Moscow Kremlin, and many more interesting facts from the world of Soviet cinema. Meeting with the guide - on February 23 at 13:00 at the Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed (in front of the monument to Minin and Pozharsky).

Second premiere -

“New Bozhedomka. Stories in faces " - sends us back to the days when the current Dostoevsky street bore this old name. The history of Bozhedomka is associated with a considerable number of famous people. During the excursion, you will learn how the relationship between Sergei Yesenin and Anna Izryadnova began, you will see the school, curated by the eldest son of A. S. Pushkin, as well as one of the first free hospitals in Moscow with "pre-empire" lions on the gates. We will meet on February 29 at 15:00 at the Dostoevskaya metro station (exit number 1).

Festivities on holidays have always been a favorite pastime in Russia. Excursion

"Traditions of fun from the golden age to the silver age" will tell about how Maslenitsa and Christmas were celebrated in Moscow during the times of Pushkin and Yesenin. It will be interesting for you to know that in each era the holidays were celebrated in their own way. However, they had one thing in common: Muscovites have always met the holidays on a grand scale - with songs, dances, carousels, performances, masquerades and balls. Together with a guide, we will walk through the very center of the capital from Tverskaya Street to Kuznetsky Most, take a look at Stoleshnikov, Kamergersky and Teatralny lanes and visit Bolotnaya Square. We invite you to learn about the traditions of folk festivals on February 22 at 12:00. Gathering of participants - at the monument to A. S. Pushkin (metro Pushkinskaya, Tverskaya).

On the same day, at 13:00, from the Teatralnaya metro station we will go

learn the secrets of the courtyards of Bolshaya Dmitrovka. We will not walk along the central streets, but in quiet courtyards and back streets where the real Moscow is hidden. For example, let's find out what happened in Stoleshnikov Lane when spring burst into Moscow mansions! And in Kamergerskoye, we will come face to face with Savva Morozov, busy with the reorganization of the Art Theater, and take a look at the artistic cafe "The Tenth Muse", where Bryusov ran in one of the warm spring evenings. Excursion “Behind the front facades. Yards of Bolshaya Dmitrovka”will be repeated on February 29, at 13:00.

"Forgotten Elizabethan Palace" and Tsarskoe Selo Rubtsovo-Pokrovskoe visit on February 24th. We will go for a walk at 14:00 from the Baumanskaya metro station (gathering of participants - at the lobby). It was in this area of Moscow that Elizaveta Petrovna's youth and the adoption of Orthodoxy by Catherine II passed. It is noteworthy that a secluded corner of the Tsarist village of Rubtsovo-Pokrovsky has retained its flavor to this day. And folk amusements were traditionally arranged around the palaces - roller coasters, merry-go-rounds and swings, on which the future generalissimo of the Russian Empire, Alexander Suvorov, also liked to have fun.

On excursions

"Ogorodnaya Sloboda: from the city of Zemlyanoy to the city of Bely" we will try to unravel the secrets of the Yusupov Palace and talk about the famous painting "The Matchmaking of a Major" (its author, artist Pavel Fedotov, was born here, nearby). It is also interesting that once this small nook in Moscow fed the entire capital: for example, vegetables, strange fruits were grown here and delivered to the Tsar's Court to the Tsar himself. Muscovites now cherish the memory of this in the name of the area - Ogorodnaya Sloboda! The walk will begin on February 28, at 12:00, at the Krasnye Vorota metro station and end at Chistye Prudy.

On March 1, let's take a look at

backstage of old Moscow, on Myasnitskaya street … Here in the old days there was always a smell of fragrant tea and coffee, Chatsky was waiting for his carriage, and Pushkin spent his idle youth. During the walk, we will learn why throwing coins and making a wish should not be near Red Square, but on Myasnitskaya, which in the 18th century aroused the anger of Muscovites "yesterday's pie-maker Aleksashka Menshikov" and much more. The guide will wait for the participants of this walk at the Chistye Prudy metro station (exit to Myasnitskaya Street) at 13:00.
