The celebration of blooming gardens and landscape art, the Flower Jam festival and competition continues! In a little less than a month (they opened on June 20), the competition gardens have grown noticeably. In mid-July, liatrix, hydrangea, echinacea, heuchera and other seasonal plants bloomed in the gardens. The landscape compositions that have adorned the streets and squares of Moscow will continue to change color and shape in August and September

“Flower Jam's competition gardens bloom and grow, changing colors, volume, appearance throughout the summer. Continuity of flowering and constant decorativeness are the conditions of this year's competition. The gardens were designed by the contestants in such a way that the plants bloom and reach the peak of decorativeness at different times. And the gardens are constantly changing, as for their creation the authors actively used shrubs and perennials with a short flowering period,”said the Organizing Committee of the competition.

Landscape projects are followed by gardeners - graduates of the Flower Jam garden school: they met the authors while planting the compositions, understood the author's concept and managed to fall in love with the gardens they are now looking after. And love for the garden is the most important thing for caring for it. Experienced and highly professional agronomists, dendrologists and phytopathologists give them advice on plant care. Every day, gardeners make photo reports: thus, foreign and nonresident authors can monitor the state of plants in their gardens in real time, as well as provide comments and recommendations for care. Authors living in Moscow regularly visit their gardens.
