Many have already learned about the Flower Jam festival thanks to the designer gardens that blossomed in the capital on June 20, as part of the competition of the same name. And starting from August 23 and ending with the City Day, Muscovites and tourists will find the most interesting: a vibrant cultural program with daily theatrical performances, creative and culinary activities! It is organized on Revolution Square, in Kamergersky Lane, Novy Arbat, Gorodetskaya, Mitinskaya, Matveevskaya, Profsoyuznaya, Svyatoozerskaya Streets, on Pererva Street, on Tverskoy and Orekhovy Boulevards, on Dmitry Donskoy Boulevard, on Glory Square, as well as in Troitsk and Zelenograd … At the festival, you can watch puppet shows from the Golden Mask project, take part in science shows and culinary battles, listen to jazz, make the most delicious jam, master the basics of landscape design and botanical illustration, and go on a journey into the world of Alice in Wonderland! The Flower Jam sites will be open from 11.00 to 21.00 on weekdays and from 10.00 to 22.00 on weekends and holidays. Entry to the festival and participation in all events are free

Fascinating workshops are the highlight of the capital's festivals! "Flower Jam" prepared a huge number of thematic master classes for the guests.
IN
13 culinary schools every day there will be classes on the preparation of the most summer desserts: jams of all kinds, smoothies from seasonal fruits and berries, sweet pastries!
In the “Culinary Bureau” on Revolution Square, the cooking process will be accompanied by conversations about the fine arts. Thus, the deep colors of the painting "View of Odessa on a Moonlit Night" by Aivazovsky will help to cook amazing blackcurrant jam, and "Girl with Peaches" by Serov will inspire him to tender peach jam.
September 2-4 will be the days of "fabulous cuisine"! Surprisingly, Russian fairy tales - "Kolobok", "By the Pike's Command", "Rejuvenating Apples" and others - can become the basis of wonderful dishes. Let's prepare them on Profsoyuznaya and Svyatoozerskaya streets, as well as on Orekhovy Boulevard.
On September 6 and 7, the festival will host special days dedicated to the culture and cuisine of Germany and England. On Mitinskaya Street, they will help enrich your daily menu with orange marmalade, English sandwiches and scones, and invite you to participate in the traditional British Five o'clock tea ceremony. And on Profsoyuznaya you will discover the world of German desserts - we will prepare delicious berry pretzel and unusual jam: Berlin mirabelle, blueberry cologne, sea buckthorn baden.
On Gorodetskaya Street, we will rediscover "Grandma's Kitchen" - this is the name of the local culinary chalet. There every day they will cook melon and plum jam, apple jelly and seasonal berries, watermelon drinks! There will also be special days of “family recipes” - August 31 and September 1 - which will show familiar dishes in an original interpretation: marrow and lemon jam, apples and cinnamon, or, for example, dogwood berries.
The business is not limited to culinary pursuits. At Revolution Square and Mitinskaya Street, young guests of the festival will be able to take their first steps in design - to design their own business card, calendar and gift box, paint a shopping bag, decorate a T-shirt with original prints. And on Revolution Square, they will show you how to arrange a mini-vegetable garden that will perfectly get along on a windowsill or balcony. Here they will teach you how to grow healthy herbs - basil, rosemary, mint and others. And at the same time - they will show how to make beautiful pots and decorative boxes for them. A pottery workshop will open nearby on this central site, where they will offer to work with a potter's wheel - to create eco-friendly dishes from clay and an art vase with our own hands. On Profsoyuznaya Street, they will teach how to make home decor items (also from clay) - bowls, art vases, candlesticks, on Svyatoozerskaya in the "Sculptor's Workshop" - to make flower bas-reliefs and paint "flower" plaster magnets. Well, in the "Mosaic Studio" on Dmitry Donskoy Boulevard it will be possible to master the unusual - and very beautiful! - hobbies: teachers will show you how to create a panel in the style of pop art, effectively decorate a plate, decorate a photo frame with a mosaic.
On the most "musical" site of the festival - in Kamergersky lane - the "Musical greenhouse" will open. In this chalet, kids can learn chants, play their first notes on the piano and chords on the guitar, feel the rhythm with a drum kit, sing karaoke and play Guess the Melody.
On Novy Arbat, they will introduce the art of botanical illustration, and there will also be a "Landscape Lecture Hall", where they will give lectures on landscape design and gardening.

Master classes at all venues except Novy Arbat will run from 15.00 to 18.45 on weekdays and from 12.00 to 18.45 on weekends and holidays. The schedule of classes on Novy Arbat is being specified.
Concerts and performances
Great news for fans of open-air performances and concerts - they will be on the grounds of the Flower Jam festival every day.
More than 200 theatrical performances await guests during the festival! Many performances will be presented by well-known Moscow theater groups: these are original retellings of everyone's favorite stories, such as "The Little Prince", "Little Red Riding Hood", "Mary Poppins", and amazing new plots - "The Padishah's Flower Carpet" by the Curtain Theater, "How the queen of flowers has learned to be friends”of the“DaMy”theater,“Sweet adventures of the flower gnome”of the“Pulsar”theater. These and many other performances can be seen in different metropolitan districts.
The largest theater festival in Russia "Golden Mask" traditionally organizes puppet shows at the "Flower Jam" venues. Don't miss the special Puppet Theater Days - August 24 and 25!
Colorful musicals - funny, cute, exciting stories in songs and dances - will be shown every weekend at several venues at once. For example, on August 24 we are watching a musical about Malysh and Karlson on Matveevskaya Street and about the Bremen Town Musicians - on Pererva Street, on September 1, the musical Thumbelina will be played on Revolution Square, and Lukomorye will be played on Sireneviy Boulevard in Troitsk.
In addition, in the evenings, the guests of "Flower Jam" will enjoy concerts of popular cover bands. And August 30 is declared the Day of Jazz at the festival - incendiary jams will be held at many of the Flower Jam venues. And besides, many bright - and even stellar - concerts were prepared for the guests on City Day!
Special events
The peculiarity of the cultural program "Flower Jam" this year is its diversity. Many special events and themed days await guests - Days of Musicals, Day of Jazz, Days of Puppet Theaters, Days of England and Germany. On the Day of Knowledge, interactive science shows will be held at the festival sites and, of course, the 872th anniversary of the capital will be celebrated on a grand scale on September 7 and 8!
On Tverskoy Boulevard there will be
amazing fabulous space - "Alice in Wonderland" playgrounddedicated to the cult fairy tale by Lewis Carroll. Here you will meet the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter and the main character - Alice, who must be rescued from the insidious Red Queen! Other adventures and exciting tasks await guests, as well as master classes on cooking art desserts with an English character, immersive performances and interactive shows. A bookcrossing zone will also be organized for them - after all, Carroll's book, as you remember, began with reading!
On the Revolution Square there will be a design
Art-Sale marketwhere you can get acquainted with the leading trends in Russian fashion and purchase clothes and accessories from fashionable Moscow designers. And on August 31 and September 1, on the same site, guests of the festival will be able to escape from the bustle of the city and enjoy the beauty and freshness of fresh flowers - leading Russian florists will present designer flower arrangements. Saturday, within
"Flower show" it will be possible to walk in the unusual garden, and on Sunday there will be
fashion show of flower dresses … Wonderful singers from
art group Soprano Turkish - and then they will perform in front of the guests of the festival with a concert!
Cooking enthusiasts will be invited to participate in
culinary battles: under the guidance of experienced chefs
festival guests will compete in making the most delicious jam … The first stage of the competition will be held on August 24 in the Krasnopakhorskoye village (Krasnaya Pakhra sports park) and on August 31 at the Flower Jam sites in Zelenograd, on Orekhovy Boulevard, Dmitry Donskoy Boulevard, Glory Square and Profsoyuznaya, Gorodetskaya, Mitinskaya, Matveevskaya, Svyatoozerskaya streets and Pererva.
Pleasant surprises have been prepared for sports lovers: a skate park and a pump track - a special cycling track - will operate on the site in Zelenograd. And in the Days of England (will be held on Mitinskaya Street on September 6 and 7) and Germany (on Profsoyuznaya Street, on the same days), everyone will be able to play croquet, table football, tetball and bowling!
