Every gardener dreams of creating a piece of paradise in his country house, where you can take a break from the hustle and bustle, admiring the luxurious flowering of beautiful plants. Create a shady seating area. Break up the flower beds. Take a break from worries in the cool atmosphere near the pond. The process of creating such a "paradise" requires a lot of investment, huge physical labor. And most importantly, you must love your garden very much
Last year I was lucky enough to first look at the dacha to see a close relative (she lives in another city). From the very first minutes of my visit, I was amazed by the magnificence of this garden. I never cease to wonder how on such a small plot (only 6 acres) vegetables, flowers, conifers, deciduous shrubs and fruit trees are organically arranged for two!
I suggest you also take a walk in this wonderful garden. To make it easier to imagine all the beauty, I offer photographs of the most original compositions.
At the entrance, a little far from the fence, a small house was built for the rest of the whole family after working days. The entire space between the building and the fence is occupied by rodendrons, tree and herbaceous peonies, spiria bushes, and lilacs.
Cobblestone paths lead deep into the garden. To the left of the house are the stems of the buzulnik and black cohosh. Tall thujas, junipers, Konik spruce, several types of barberry with variegated decorative foliage perfectly coexist with them.
To the left of the path, near the fence, there is an alpine hill with many low-growing plants: young, evening primrose, sedum creeping, dwarf irises, ayuga, several species of low-growing junipers - blue rocky, spherical. The entire area of the slide is beautifully decorated with large natural stones. One gets the impression that you are not in Central Russia, but somewhere in the rocky foothills.
A little further, an unusual elongated pond flaunts with real water lilies, dissolving their huge terry inflorescences of different shades on sunny days. Artificial ducks with babies float on the surface. From a distance, it seems that they are real. So birds naturally sway under the breeze on the water surface.
A small iron bridge with a wooden deck makes it possible to go from one bank to another. From it it is good to admire the alpine slide and the pond up close. On a hot sunny day, you just want to sit on the shore, breathe in the cool air saturated with moisture.
Around the reservoir are planted: irises, hosts, lilies, daylilies, undersized solidago. In summer, flowerpots with unique “pansies” or petunias are displayed along the edges of the bridge.
Behind the bridge nestled phlox, Gaillardium, small-flowered clematis of bush white color.
To the left of the pond are arches for climbing plants: clematis, climbing roses. Closing in in the middle of summer at the top of the structure, they create a wonderful shade. The walkway inside allows you to bring a garden chair and enjoy the unique scent of the flowers.
Rows of tall, bearded irises, bushes of park roses, phloxes and other large plants stretch along the border with neighbors.
Behind the house, on the right side of the path, there is a shady flower garden with undersized specimens. It is represented by primroses, baby hosts, lumbago, liverwort, daisies with thick burgundy pompoms. Mixed with flowers, small conifers organically blended: spherical thuja Dannika, cypress, several types of juniper. In the center of the composition is Konik spruce. Fruit trees are also planted here, creating coolness for shade-loving specimens.
If you go deeper into the site, you will come across medium-sized astilbe, high varieties of hosts, solidago, openwork heucheras with different patterns on the leaves.
To the right of this beauty, there are even rows of beds with garden large strawberries, cabbage, carrots and other vegetables.
Near the fence in the background there are outbuildings, two greenhouses made of cellular polycarbonate for tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers. Near the fence there are rows of raspberries, currant bushes, gooseberries, and an apple tree.
In any weather, it is pleasant to walk in the garden along the paths laid out by the caring hand of the hostess with large paving slabs. It is always clean and tidy here. You can go for a walk in slippers and not get dirty.
The collection of flowers is constantly updated. New rare specimens appear: Venus's shoe orchids, adonis, kalistegia, kandyk, terry marigold with large bright yellow inflorescences, gentian, levisia.
It is simply impossible to list all types. Several hundred of them grow on such a small area. And for everyone there is time with a caring hostess. What kind of abilities and knowledge you need to have to find an approach to every "crumb" !!! Moreover, they all require different conditions for successful growth.
I leave after 3 hours of excursion from the site, full of vivid impressions. And a desire has already settled in my heart to return to this truly magnificent oasis of beauty and harmony between man and nature.
