For growth, the plant prefers cliffs, meadows, forest edges and rocky placers.

Ellagic acid and the following flavonoids are located in the aerial part of the Potentilla of the Fender: glycosides of kaempferol, quercetin and isorhamnetin. The leaves will contain phenol carboxylic acids and their derivatives: ferulic, ellagic, caffeic and p-coumaric acids, as well as cyanidin, quercetin and kaempferol. It should be noted that the fennel cinquefoil is endowed with the ability to display increased antibacterial activity.
To prepare a healing remedy based on Potentilla fennel, you will need to take three tablespoons of dry crushed herbs of this plant for two cups of boiling water. It is recommended to infuse the resulting healing mixture for about two hours in a sealed container, after which such a therapeutic agent based on this plant should be very thoroughly filtered. The resulting healing agent is taken on the basis of Potentilla fender half an hour before the start of a meal three times a day, one third of a glass.
