The pedicels of Potentilla goose are pubescent and long, the flowers will be quite large, they are endowed with a double calyx and are painted in golden yellow tones. Such flowers will be endowed with many pistils and stamens. The fruits of this plant will be dry, they are collected in achenes. The flowering of this plant occurs in the period from May to August. It is noteworthy that the cinquefoil goose will reproduce rather quickly by means of stem rooting offspring, the length of which can reach about one meter. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of Ukraine, the European part of Russia, the mountainous regions of Central Asia, the Caucasus, Belarus, the Far East, Western and Eastern Siberia. For growth, the plant prefers places near rivers, lakes, swamps, fields, roads, yards, gardens, forest glades, as well as between fields and vegetable gardens.
Description of the medicinal properties of goose cinquefoil
Cinquefoil goose is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while for medicinal purposes it is recommended to use the entire aerial part and roots of this plant, including flowers, stems and leaves. Collect Potentilla goose grass should be from May to August, and the roots are harvested from September to October.
The infusion and decoction prepared on the basis of this plant is recommended for use as a very effective hemostatic agent for various internal bleeding. The plant is endowed with the ability to reduce and even stop seizures, and will also relieve pain of a different nature. Cinquefoil goose is endowed with antiseptic, astringent and rather strong diuretic effect.
An infusion of this herb is used for kidney stones, convulsions, stomach cramps and diarrhea with colic, and also as a hemostatic agent for various internal bleeding. To prepare such an infusion, you will need to take twenty grams of goose cinquefoil herb for one liter of boiling water. The resulting mixture should be infused for about three to four hours. Such a healing agent is taken three times a day for twenty to twenty-five days, one glass each.
As for external use, it is recommended to use an infusion or decoction of the herb Potentilla goose for rinsing with toothache, as well as for various inflammatory processes occurring in the mouth and throat. In Ukraine, a decoction of this plant in goat milk is a powerful diuretic that will not irritate the kidneys.
