Cinquefoil is a perennial and most often quite large plant, the height of which will fluctuate between ten and fifty centimeters. The stems of this plant, the undersides of the leaves and the branches of the inflorescences will be covered not only with long and simple hairs, but also with thick and short hairs, which will also be somewhat sinuous hairs. Root leaves of Potentilla holosteel are large, pinnately dissected and long-petiolate, their length will be about three to fourteen centimeters. The upper leaves of this plant will be descending and sessile. The length of the flowers of this plant in diameter will be about two centimeters, and they will be painted in yellow tones.

The flowering of Potentilla holosteel falls on the period from June to July. Under natural conditions, this plant is found on the territory of the following regions of Eastern Siberia: Leno-Kolymsky, Daursky and Angara-Sayansky regions. For growth, this plant prefers grassy slopes and mixed forests.

Cinquefoil is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the rhizomes of this plant for therapeutic purposes.

The presence of such valuable and very effective properties of this plant should be explained by the content of the following flavonoids in the composition of Potentilla holosteel: isorhamnetin glycosides, kaempferol and quercetin. While in the aerial part of this plant, a rather high content of ellagic acid is noted, as well as also such flavonoids as: glycosides of kaempferol, quercetin and isorhamnetin.

It is noteworthy that holosteel cinquefoil has the ability to exhibit antibacterial activity. As for Tibetan medicine, a decoction is quite widespread here, which is prepared on the basis of the rhizomes of Potentilla holosteel. Such a decoction on a decoction of this plant is used in accordance with the manifestation of this plant's antibacterial activity.

For numerous diseases, including gastritis, diarrhea and gastric ulcer, it is recommended to use a very effective remedy based on holosteal cinquefoil: to prepare such a healing agent, you will need to take twelve grams of crushed rhizomes per three hundred milliliters of water. It should be noted that in order to achieve the greatest efficiency when taking such a healing agent, it is important to strictly observe all the norms for the preparation of such a healing agent, as well as carefully follow all the rules for taking such a drug based on holosteel cinquefoil.
