What mistakes do we most often make?

Bed under the window

It is during sleep that the human body needs support and protection. Therefore, according to the principle of Feng Shui, the head of the bed must be firm. It is best if it is adjacent to the wall. If you sleep with your head to the window, your inner energy does not find any support during sleep. If it is not possible to rearrange your sleeping place, then at least close the windows with heavy blackout curtains, this will create the illusion of protection.

Bed under a sloping ceiling

Sloped ceilings are not uncommon in many modern homes. But it is worth considering that according to the principles of Feng Shui teaching, if you sleep under such a ceiling, then the channel for receiving energy will be very narrowed, and you will be under constant pressure. And it is not surprising that after relaxing in such a room, you often wake up in a bad mood. Sleeping under a low ceiling promotes low energy and emotional instability.

If you do not have any opportunity to move your bed to another room, then you can reduce the negative impact by placing the bed with a headboard under the highest part of the sloped ceiling. Bed next to the bedroom door

A bed placed next to the door to the bedroom is one of the most incorrect locations in Feng Shui. Doors are the strongest channel through which energy both increases and decreases. This wandering energy is too active and disturbing for normal sleep. Bed with feet to the door

This is perhaps the most popular unfortunate bed layout, which many people try to avoid. And for good reason! Sleeping in this position can take more strength from a person, and in the morning he will often feel weak and overwhelmed. Moreover, the door to which the legs are turned can be not only the entrance door, but also the door to the bathroom, to the wardrobe, to the closet, etc. The best way to fix everything is to change the location of the bed, or install it on a strong and high footrest. And any furniture placed between the bed and the door (for example, a small rack, a voluminous ottoman, a table, etc.) will help to save the energy.

Bed under the beam

Sometimes in country houses the bedrooms are literally under the ceiling, and a powerful wooden beam carrying the roof passes over the beds. Its energy can negatively affect sleeping people. According to the recommendations of Feng Shui specialists, all objects hanging above the bed, which are heavier than fabric (bells, massive lamps, etc.), form a rather oppressive and unpleasant energy in the bedroom. The surest solution to the problem of the beam above the bed is to rearrange the sleeping place under the usual smooth ceiling. But if this is not difficult to do, then use the following tips:

• Paint the ceiling together with the beam in light colors;

• Hang a small lamp on the beam a little further from the head of the bed;

• Hang the bed with a nice canopy in medium-weight fabric. Too transparent fabrics will not be able to provide the necessary protection, and dense weaves of threads will only add weight above you.

Bed opposite mirrors

A mirror opposite your bed is also an unfortunate solution. It will bring the energy of a third person into your intimate life. It is best to avoid this arrangement. If, after waking up, you just need to see your reflection right away, then it is advisable to cover the mirror with some kind of curtain at night. It will look like you have draped another window. Alternatively, you can position the mirrors at an angle so that they do not reflect you in bed.

Large mirrored surfaces are generally not recommended in the room where you are resting. They usually carry with them a very strong energy of water. But this does not mean at all that it is necessary to abandon mirrors in the bedroom altogether; small decorative mirrors at dressing tables will be a good option.
