Also, increased resistance is noted in such tomatoes and to frost. Thanks to these properties, the De Barao line of tomatoes can be used in absolutely any side and area of the garden. They are planted under fences and barriers, in the shade of trees or along paths. Diseases and pests affect such plants very rarely.

The De Barao tomato variety can produce high yields. After planting, until the first collection of vegetables, it takes about one hundred fifteen to one hundred twenty days. With proper and careful care, you can collect up to five kilograms of fruit from one culture bush. The shape of these tomatoes has the form of an oval or egg. The sizes of such tomatoes are average, and the weight is sixty to seventy grams. After harvesting from the bush, such fruits can ripen and retain their taste for a long time.

As a rule, De Barao line tomatoes are planted in greenhouse structures. However, some summer residents and gardeners still prefer to grow such a crop in open beds. But this is only available in southern regions with warm climate conditions.

Types and varieties of De Barao tomatoes

With the help of the interesting shape of De Barao tomatoes, breeders managed to develop a number of varieties intended for home gardening. Shoots of this plant bear fruit very well. On one plant specimen, about twelve peduncle brushes are formed. Each of them will eventually form about seven fruits. From one bush, you can collect about twelve kilograms of tomatoes. The presentation and taste of these tomatoes are of very high quality. Gardeners eat fresh fruits of this variety, canning and salting them. Many summer residents express their positive opinion about the Tsar's tomatoes.

The giant tomato has distinctive features in the form of a tall shrub and its vigor. Its stem length can reach up to two meters. The plant is resistant to a variety of diseases and does not impose difficult requirements for care. The culture is also resistant to cold weather, shade and different types of soil.

Such a tomato grows well in greenhouses. In general, the giant tomato has a late ripening period. It takes four months from the moment of planting the seeds in the soil to the receipt of fruits. The mass of one fruit can range from eighty to two hundred grams. The color of the vegetables is red and the skin has a dense texture. These tomatoes resemble plums in their shape. During transportation, the fruits practically do not crumple. The taste of the fruit of this variety has excellent performance. Therefore, tomatoes are used for fresh consumption, pickling and canning.

The black tomato of the De Barao line reaches a height of about two meters. Therefore, when growing next to shrubs, support elements are installed. During development, this hybrid requires plant formation and pinching. Such a greenhouse plant feels good and gives bountiful harvests only on fertile soils. The fruits are dark burgundy and oval in shape.
