The information that only the Bidens tripartita has healing powers, and therefore you should know well its external signs, so as not to harm your own body, is not entirely correct. There are many other species of the Train growing in the world, which are successfully used by humans to maintain vigor of body and spirit

Russians have such an opinion about the Bidens tripartita, apparently because this species grows everywhere, no matter where you look at the vast expanses of our Motherland. In the 19th century, as soon as the Tripartite Line entered the time of flowering, lovers of folk methods of treatment went out into the fields to prepare medicinal herbs for future use.

The next century, which managed to invent many other medicines, somewhat cooled interest in the Three-part series. Although wise old women advised young mothers to add a decoction of the herb of the Three-part series to the water for bathing babies, so that the irritating delicate skin would pass from a child, for example, to a raven. Although it was not clear what the crow was guilty of, but this is exactly how the compassionate nannies used to say: “Get back to health with Vanya, but the crow is sick”:).

Bidens cernua (A series of drooping or drooping)

In addition to the usual Bidens tripartita, in many places in Russia, the drooping train (Bidens cernua), which has healing powers, is often found.

The drooping line is a lover of moist soils, and therefore one should look for it on damp meadows, along the banks of all kinds of reservoirs, on the outskirts of swamps, which are so rich in many regions of Western Siberia (Kuzbass, Novosibirsk, Omsk and Tyumen regions, Altai Territory); Buryatia, Krasnoyarsk Territory and Irkutsk Region - in Eastern Siberia; Far East; European part of Russia.

The drooping succession is an annual plant that manages to grow its erect stem up to a meter in height during the warm period of the year. If conditions are not very good, then herbaceous bushes can be 15 cm high.

The plant has very decorative lanceolate leaves with a serrate-serrate edge and short winged petioles. The disc of the baskets of inflorescences with tubular flowers is not always surrounded by petals and obediently droops to the surface of the earth.

The collection of herbs is carried out at the beginning of flowering, which begins at the end of June, so that the ruffy fruits cannot spoil the medicinal raw materials. The dried herb of a drooping line is a storehouse of useful substances (vitamins, including vitamin "C"; mucous and tannins; carotene; manganese; essential oil; mineral salts …).

From the dry grass harvested for future use, universal infusions are prepared that support the work of almost all organs of the human body, as well as help relieve the skin of irritations and diseases.

In addition, young leaves that exude a cucumber aroma can be added to spring salads.

Its graceful carved leaves are suitable for animal feed, and are also used for human culinary delights (salads, drinks).

The tubular flowers share their nectar with the industrious bees.

Traditional healers harvest herb plants to relieve people of many ailments.

String of hawaiian islands

Today, Russians are boldly traveling the world. They can be found in various parts of our little blue planet, including the islands of the Hawaiian archipelago. Therefore, it will not be superfluous information that on the two islands of the archipelago, Oahu and Maui, rare species of the Train are growing, which have healing powers.

These are the Bidens populifolia, which has chosen the island of Oahu, and the devoted Maui (Bidens mauiensis), whose location is spelled out in the name of the plant.
