Description of the crescent bulge

Crescent hair is a perennial herb, the height of which can fluctuate between twenty and eighty centimeters. The stems of this plant will be numerous and straight, they can also be either slightly sinuous or branched from the very base. In this case, the lowest leaves of this plant are larger and wider than all other leaves. In shape, such leaves can be both broadly ovoid and elliptical, while their length will be about ten to fifteen centimeters, and the width will be about one and a half to two centimeters. Umbrellas are often few in number, they are on very short legs, and their length will be about one to two centimeters. One umbrella has about ten to fifteen flowers, which are on short pedicels about one millimeter long. The petals are colored in light yellow tones, the fruits themselves will be oblong, about three to three and a half centimeters long.

The flowering of this plant occurs in the month of July, and the ripening of the fruits in the month of August. For growth, this plant prefers the entire territory of the European part of Russia, Belarus, as well as in the Caucasus and in the Dnieper region of Ukraine. The crescent bullet prefers steppe shrubs, dry slopes and chalk outcrops for growth.

Description of the medicinal properties of the crescent hair

For medicinal purposes, the roots and grass of crescent hairs have become widespread. In this case, the grass and roots should be harvested throughout the entire flowering period. Phenolic compounds, coumarins, carbohydrates and adonite were found in the roots of this plant. At the same time, the leaves contain phenol carboxylic acids, coumarins, rutin, isorhamnetin, quercetin, terpenoids and the following steroids: stigmasterol and betasitosterol. In addition, there are also derivatives of phenolcarboxylic acids: isochlorogenic and chlorogenic acids.

A decoction of crescent hairs or an aqueous emulsion preparation for injection are very effective for influenza and various other diseases, which are also characterized by high body temperature. For the treatment of intercostal neuralgia, it is recommended to use the following drug, which can consist of four to ten components: the plant itself will be the actual component, as well as the peony root, the fruits of the three-leaf poncirus, turmeric, and allspice. A water decoction should be prepared from these components, which should be taken internally with especially severe pain.

In case of flu, the following remedy should be taken: for preparation, you will need to take eight to ten grams of dry crushed grass for one glass of boiling water. This mixture should be infused for one hour, and then filtered thoroughly. The resulting mixture is recommended to be taken before meals three to four times a day, half a glass.

With flu, as well as febrile conditions, it is recommended to use the following remedy: for its preparation, ten grams of crushed roots are taken per three hundred milliliters of water. The resulting mixture is boiled over low heat for about five to six minutes, then infused for an hour and filtered. This remedy should be taken half a glass three to four times a day. When used correctly, such a remedy has shown particular effectiveness.
