Cinnamon can be found in almost every kitchen. And, meanwhile, this is not only a spicy spice that we actively add to tea, coffee or a wide variety of pastries - it is also an excellent helper for all summer residents! Do you know that with its help you can get rid of ants that attacked a site or house, prevent the development of fungal diseases in seedlings, or provide better rooting for new plants? And this is far from the full spectrum of action of magic cinnamon

Ant protection

As it turned out, annoying ants do not like cinnamon very much, which means that in order to drive them away from the site, it will not hurt to sprinkle it around the soil around the beds or in greenhouses. In this case, the ants will not die, but from the cinnamon-sprinkled places they will retreat at lightning speed. And if these annoying insects often drop in for a visit and in the country house, you can sprinkle cinnamon right under the door - intolerance to this useful product will not allow ants to cross the forbidden line!

Prevention of fungal diseases in seedlings

In the case of waterlogging, the seedlings are often affected by a wide variety of fungal diseases, which in some cases entails its inevitable death. Cinnamon will definitely help prevent such a nuisance - for this it is quite enough to lightly dust the soil with it. By the way, this method helps to kill two birds with one stone - in addition to protecting against fungal ailments, cinnamon will also help get rid of tiny midges, which often grow up near trays with growing seedlings.

You can also prepare an incredibly effective "fungicide" for plants. To do this, half a liter of water is combined with a tablespoon of cinnamon powder and two crushed aspirin tablets. The resulting mixture is allowed to brew for twelve hours, after which it is filtered and poured into another container. Then the cuttings are soaked in such a solution for two hours and planted as usual. Cinnamon in this case will be a powerful fungicide, and aspirin acts as an accelerator of root growth. But such a tool cannot be stored - all residues after using it will have to be poured out, since they will still quickly lose their useful properties.

Indoor plant protection

Very good cinnamon helps protect against mold and mildew and indoor plants - in this case, a small amount is also sprinkled on the soil. It is not forbidden to mix cinnamon with the fertilizers used. By the way, midges will also very quickly stop circling around their favorite green pets!

Fungicide for trees

If the fungus begins to attack fruit trees, you must mix a small amount of cinnamon powder with warm water and let the prepared solution stand overnight. In the morning, the solution is thoroughly mixed and, pouring it into the sprayer, they are sent to process the affected crops. After a while, there will be no trace of the fungus!

Rooting cinnamon

If you apply a small amount of cinnamon powder to the cuttings previously moistened with water before planting the plants, they will root much better. In this respect, cinnamon can boast of no less efficiency than a chemical material that requires certain material costs, because it is also an excellent antiseptic. And it also happens that you will not find material specially designed for processing cuttings on sale during the day with fire! And there is no need to once again resort to the help of chemistry - treatment with cinnamon will contribute not only to better rooting of plants, but also protect them from dangerous diseases and infections!

Healing wounds in plants

If the wind accidentally broke off a branch of a tree growing on the site, or excessive zeal was shown when pruning branches, the resulting wounds must be covered up as soon as possible. And to stimulate the healing processes, you can first sprinkle cinnamon crushed into dust on the wounds. Moreover, cinnamon in this case will contribute to the prevention of fungal infection!

Do not limit yourself to using cinnamon exclusively in the walls of the kitchen, because it can bring a lot of benefits in your summer cottage!
