In summer, there is a lot of fabulous things around us: green grass and trees, transparent blue reservoirs, deep sky and, most importantly, many flowers. It is difficult to imagine a suburban area without flowers. And in order for everything to look harmonious and beautiful, the plants need to build flower beds. It is worth noting that in this case, people's imagination is not limited and you can make flower beds from any available means. We will tell you about them.

Wooden fences

You can make such a fence from anything: pegs, twigs, logs, planks. By the way, it will be not only beautiful, but also useful. When decomposing, the tree will fill the soil with useful properties, and in winter it will protect the root system of plants.

Fences from patterned boards

Pillars are dug into the ground at the same distance, and a pre-prepared mini-fence is already attached to them. Unusualness of such a fence will be given by a triangular or curly top and an unusual color. And to make the fence withstand bad weather, cover it with oil paint.

Wicker fence made of willow

Here you will have to work with pens and sweat a lot, but it's worth it. For work you will need: pegs and willow rods (they can be found on the banks of rivers, dams and other bodies of water). After you have collected a sufficient number of rods, they need to be barked off, and the rods must be trimmed to the same length.

Now is the time to tinker with the outline of the future flower bed. Here you need to decide on the diameter of the fence, and drive the pegs into the right places. But do not forget - the closer they are to each other, the stronger the fence will be. Further, the pegs are braided with rods according to the principle of weaving baskets. To make sure your new hedge will serve you for years to come, be sure to knock the netting with a hammer (this will strengthen it). To preserve the flower bed for a long time, the ends of the twigs can be nailed to the pegs.

Log fence

For such a flower bed, you will need logs without bark and treated with a special solution (for preservation). They should all be the same diameter and height, about 22 to 25 centimeters. Around the proposed fence, it is necessary to dig a shallow ditch, where the logs are placed tightly to each other. Further, about 20 centimeters are buried with earth, the flowerbed is formed by hemp of logs. They can be painted with various colored paints, which will give an unusual club a twist.

Stones to help

Very often summer residents use stones and bricks. When using stone, it is necessary to fasten them with cement so that the fence can withstand the pressure of the soil. Bricks can make things easier. The principle of operation is the same, only cement is not needed here. Stones and bricks are pressed into the concrete pad, which must be prepared in advance. As you already understood, when using a stone, you also need to make a concrete solution.

Cheap and angry

You need 15 - 25 bottles filled with whatever. Be it pebbles, sand or soil. Bury closed filled bottles with the neck down. But not completely, but in half. That's it, the flowerbed is ready.

Flowerbed on a septic tank

Some are faced with a problem such as a septic tank in the yard. Some of the round concrete blocks take up a lot of space. Fortunately, even they can be used as a basis for a flower bed. You will need more sand and old slate. Around the septic tank, a square body is formed with slate. The layers can be fixed together with nails, wire or other means at hand. After the body is ready, cover the top with earth or sand, and then plant flowers there. No one will guess that a septic tank is hidden under the floral carpet.
