Sowing is carried out in rows. The planting depth is slightly greater than that of mustard leaf - about 1.5 cm. Between rows, a distance of 15-20 cm is maintained. Field lettuce also needs more space. Therefore, 2 weeks after sowing, thinning is carried out so that a distance of approximately 12-15 cm is maintained between the plants.

To extend the period for obtaining greens, before the onset of cold weather, you need to have time to cover the beds with foil. When sowing under winter, to obtain fresh greenery in early spring, cover should also be provided for the beds. To do this, additionally use humus, you can use vegetable tops or straw.
