Electrical work and wiring in the country - the implementation of this project seems to be very important for all owners of country houses. After all, they have long since moved back to those days when there was not even light in the dachas, not to mention televisions and other equipment. Today, modern dachas have everything you need for a quality and comfortable stay. Therefore, it seems so important to conduct wiring and carry out all electrical work in general.

Many people build country houses on their own, so it will be advisable to try to do the wiring yourself too. Of course, such works can hardly be called simple. However, this task will be quite easy to accomplish if you know certain rules and strictly follow all safety rules.

So, first of all, you should remember that there are two types of wiring: hidden and open. At the moment, open wiring can be called more popular and widespread. Especially for wooden houses, this type of wiring seems to be the most relevant. As for the advantages of such a wiring, they should include, first of all, the possibility of connecting a new cable or removing a section of a cable that, for one reason or another, has failed. In addition, the price of open wiring will be more favorable. For hidden wiring, you will need a much thicker and voluminous cable, which will be mounted in the wall, covered with several layers of whitewash. In addition, when installing this type of wiring, more dirt and dust arise, which significantly increases the installation time itself and leaves behind the need for thorough cleaning.

The advantages of open wiring include the fact that all consumables have a greater degree of strength and safety. Favorable prices will be another advantage in favor of this choice. Open wiring can be done not only along the walls, but also on the ceiling. At the same time, the cable is hidden in special metal tubes, which serve as reliable protection against all kinds of adverse influences. In addition, such mechanical tubes will significantly extend the life of the entire cable as a whole. The service life can even reach more than one decade. If you purchase rather bulky cables, then the level of security will increase significantly.

In addition, you should not forget that when you place various items in the interior, you must observe increased safety: in no case should damage to the cable. Therefore, it seems rational to draw up an approximate wiring diagram, which should always be kept at hand.

How to wire the house?

Of course, the performance of such work requires full attention, caution, and compliance with all safety measures. To carry out the wiring, you will need a number of necessary tools. In addition, you will have to purchase some materials and other elements that are important for the installation process.

As for the tools, you will need a grinder, wire cutters, pliers, screwdrivers and a hammer drill. Among the materials that will be needed, it should be highlighted: switches, plaster, sockets, lighting devices and boxes focused on the branching of electricity.

After all the tools and materials have been prepared, an approximate layout of the lamps, sockets and switches should be drawn up. You should also choose the most suitable place for the meter and other devices, with the help of which the electricity is controlled. After you have chosen the locations for the outlets and switches, you will need to drill holes of the correct size in the marked places.

Of course, in the process of work it is necessary to adhere to certain section norms. For example, a kitchen will require a cable with a cross-section of at least five millimeters, while for a bedroom, a cross-section of two and a half millimeters seems to be optimal. As for sockets and switches, it is recommended for them to choose a cross-section equal to one and a half millimeters.
