For children, celebrating the New Year at the dacha will be a real unforgettable adventure. After all, the forest (with which a house in a village or a summer cottage is certainly associated) is a magical place from books where Twelve Months, Baba Yaga and Leshy, other fairy-tale heroes, and most importantly, Santa Claus and Snegurochka live! Will these guests come to the city apartment …? will you be able to see them …? or will they silently leave gifts under the tree …?

Another thing is New Year's Eve at the dacha - riding down hills, making a snowman and other snow figures, playing snowballs, dancing around a real Christmas tree, building a snow cave - all this is accompanied by explosions of firecrackers and fireworks, in the light of stars and colorful garlands!

And also the opportunity to decorate the Christmas tree and the yard by yourself, to cook New Year's magic dishes - this is a special and unique holiday!

Organization of a children's New Year's feast

You can safely involve the kids themselves in the organization of the children's New Year's feast. This will be more of a game for them than work and hassle.

First of all, children can be entrusted with all the work related to decoration, for example, decorating disposable tableware for a holiday or making toys and garlands for a Christmas tree. To do this, you will need the most ordinary plastic cups and plates, multi-colored foil, scissors, glue, beads and sequins of various shapes, white paper and other accessories for crafts (fir cones and twigs; dried fruits and herbarium; shells brought from the sea; pieces of bright fabrics; old toys, etc.).

DIY dishes

The most common foods can become New Year's dishes if decorated properly. The ingredients will be boiled vegetables, cold meats, sweet corn, green peas, cheeses, boiled eggs, fruits and berries.

Vegetables, sausage and cheese can be cut into small cubes, cubes and pyramids. Pour peas, corn and berries into bowls. Boiled eggs, cut in half and freed from the yolk, can become stuffing molds. As well as ready-made tartlets; boiled and then lightly fried large pasta (fried so as not to lose shape) or just a sliced loaf.

Then you need to determine the theme of the evening, you can take an idea from the cartoon. For example, dishes like "Monsters, Inc." or "Underwater World". In the form of a constructor, provide skewers for canapes, base molds (tartlets, pasta, halves of boiled eggs, etc.), chopped vegetables, meat and herbs.

Self-made monster figurines will be eaten with more enthusiasm than any of the most exquisite adult dishes.

Fruits and sweets

Children will pay much more attention to tangerines, oranges and apples - if you arrange them in colorful bags along with chocolates and sweets, and give them as a personal gift to everyone. But a fruit vase on a children's table can go unnoticed. The distribution of "sweet" gifts should be organized after the end of the dinner, or even better the morning after the New Year.

Since, in addition to their own meal, children will probably want to participate in an adult, in the part where a fire (or brazier) is lit and kebabs are prepared, and then potatoes are baked in coals or crackers (sausages, sausages) are fried on a homemade skewer.

Gingerbread, cookies, marshmallows and other sweets will come in handy during your morning tea.

New Year's games for children

To carry out a New Year's cultural program at the dacha for children, one or two presenters are needed, ideally, Santa Claus and Snegurochka. In addition to traditional round dances, it is possible to organize a show program, where the children themselves will be the artists, and the adults will be spectators. In this case, the kids are given roles in advance so that there is time to prepare for the performance, to choose the right music and costumes.

The chef competition will take place at the time of cooking, and the competition for the best craft will be held during the making of decorations for the Christmas tree.

For the game "Choose your own gift" you need to pull a rope to which small souvenirs are attached. A blindfolded child must cut "his" prize. Another blindfold game is called Cinderella's Shoe. For her, you will need one shoe from each participant, among which (mixed among themselves) you need to find your own without looking.

On New Year's Eve, a special place should be given to magic and any tricks prepared by children or shown by adults will be very welcome!
