He turned his stem into a root-bulb, from which, on strong long petioles, large wide lanceolate leaves with sharp ends appear in the world.

To make the bush lush, growers plant several bulbs in one pot, since one bulb gives birth to 2-4 green leaves, which, although called "evergreen", have their own lifespan, by the end of which the leaf begins to turn yellow and thin, losing elasticity. These leaves are removed and the bulb releases a new leaf.
Such a plant would deserve human attention even without flowers, but Eucharis also gives flowering, sometimes twice a year. The first time it blooms in winter, often combining flowering with New Year's holidays, and the second time in spring.
Its snow-white graceful fragrant flowers bloom at the top of a strong peduncle more than half a meter high. They form a drooping umbrella-shaped inflorescence, numbering from 3 to 8 flowers. The flowers do not stay on the peduncle for long, not blooming all at the same time, but replacing the wilted one in order to prolong the charm.
Growing
As a bulbous plant, Eucharis in the tropics is located in the lowest tier of vegetation, where the sun's rays cannot penetrate, and therefore it is twilight and high humidity remains. This is a plus for flower growers whose windows do not face the sunny side, and therefore other plants do not like to take root on such windowsills. And you can even determine a place for the plant away from the window.
Soil moisture should be moderate, without stagnant water, dangerous for bulbous plants. Periodic spraying and bathing of the leaves is encouraged. After New Year's flowering, the plant begins a period of relative dormancy, during which the leaves continue to turn green, but the plant needs a short (month and a half) rest, when watering should be reduced.
The soil should be loose, fertile, but without excess nitrogen. During the period of active leaf growth and flowering, watering a couple of times a month is combined with top dressing with liquid fertilizer.
Transfer
The overgrown plant is planted every three to four years, carefully separating the adult bulbs together with several children, trying not to damage the roots. You can, of course, drop off the children separately, but then they will "grow up" longer.
Reproduction
You can propagate by sowing seeds, but this is a lengthy procedure, not everyone will like it.
It is much more effective to use onion babies, which, while providing comfortable conditions for the plant, quickly fill the flower pot.
