For the legs, 10-15 cm is enough; for this purpose, parts of a metal profile or a thick corner are cut. Work is easier to carry out using welding, but everything can be done with a drill and a screwdriver. In order to save money, it is not necessary to buy iron, but to collect unnecessary scraps and put them into work. For a standard drawer 120 high, 40 deep, 125 wide, you need a door h - 95, width - 45, a roof with a projection of 10-15 cm.
Manufacturing material
The structure is made of non-combustible materials, usually sheet metal with a thickness of 0.8-1 mm. To prevent corrosion, powder paint is used on a polymer epoxy-polyester base, which has excellent characteristics, of course, you can use ordinary paint for metal.
The calculation of the material takes place according to the dimensions. The dimensions of the cabinet for one 50 liter cylinder correspond to 700-725 * 400 * 430-365 mm (H * W * D), for two: 1050 * 840 * 370 mm (H * W * D). You will need door hinges 2 pcs (8, 5 cm), a corner of 25 mm, two hinges for a lock, trimming a profiled sheet, self-tapping screws, paint, a drill or a welding machine.
Gas equipment installation rule
It is better to install the gas box farther from the direct sun: on the north side of the house or in partial shade - this will help prevent overheating. The wall of the house is chosen accordingly, where the kitchen is located, try to minimize the distance from the stove. Choose a high-quality, metallized, approved gas hose for the connection. The chosen place should be 5 meters away from the entrance doors and windows. If the structure is wooden, then a fire screen is equipped.
The cabinet must not be placed on the ground; an obligatory foundation is made for it. It is preferable to prepare the base with a margin exceeding the dimensions by at least 15 cm. The height of the base is arbitrary, but not less than 100 mm. If rain or melt water accumulates on the selected site, a higher foundation will be required.
