One of the newfangled hobbies of opponents of using chemistry in gardening is the use of liquid organic fertilizer, the value of which is equal to gold, and therefore it is called “liquid gold” (Liquid Gold). Moreover, gardeners do not have to invest a lot of money to acquire such fertilizer, since everyone who has already learned how to prepare good-quality compost can easily prepare such fertilizer right on their land plot.

Life-giving "cup of coffee"

At the bottom of any composting facility, there is a byproduct of composting - a liquid that you may not have paid much attention to. But for microbes and soil fauna, including the tireless workers of the soil layer, worms responsible for the health and fertility of the soil, therefore, for the quality and quantity of the harvest of vegetables and fruits, this product is equivalent to a cup of good coffee or a high-calorie cocktail for humans.

Workers of agricultural science studied the process of creating such an elixir and concluded that it is possible to produce "liquid gold" by man. For this purpose, special equipment was created, which can be purchased by anyone in the "advanced" countries. You can simply buy "tea leaves" at garden centers. But all this requires financial investments, and I doubt that such goods already exist in our trade, although in Europe and America this has already become commonplace.

Do not rush to be upset. There is a less expensive method that is quite affordable for our gardeners. After all, compost tea can be made by yourself from fresh ready-made compost of your own production. This will require a pair of buckets, water, sacking or gauze for filtering, and a compost shovel.

Benefits of compost tea

* Enriches the soil with beneficial microorganisms that strengthen the immune system of plants, and microelements that are easily absorbed by plant roots. This means that the plants will be healthy and strong, and the harvest will be decent and appetizing.

* The nutrients of compost tea are quickly absorbed by the roots or leaves (when sprinkled with tea). In addition, the surface of the leaves is covered with beneficial microbes, leaving no chance for fungi and other pests to attack.

* The rich content of nutrients in tea allows plants to grow green mass faster, to show the world brighter and larger flowers, thereby contributing to an increase in the quality and quantity of fruits and root crops grown.

* The beneficial microbes of compost tea ward off pests and diseases, and also neutralize pesticides previously introduced into the soil. They also fix nitrogen from the air and provide it to plants in a form that is convenient for consumption.

* Compost tea saves the gardener's finances, relieves the earth of chemical poisons that are harmful not only to plants and humans, but also kill beneficial insects, without which the soil and plants become more vulnerable and defenseless.

* Compost tea turns the grower into a friend for the plant kingdom, helping to keep the soil alive, healthy and fertile. It makes grown vegetables, berries and fruits safe for the human body, unlike those offered to people by our trade today.
