Often, gardening work leads to the skin of the hands and feet, as well as nails, in a very deplorable state. Dirt from under the nails is washed out with difficulty, blackness from the hands is also difficult to remove. And we stubbornly every day with three pumice stones, clean, steam …

But after gardening, everything must be repeated from the beginning. Such is the kind of groundhog day turns out. What to do? How to make your life easier? In this article, we will look at little tricks that, with minimal financial and time costs, will allow you to quickly and easily get rid of dirt.

Of course, the best way is to use special gardening gloves, but what to do with your feet - to wear shoe covers?

The first trick

It will help us get rid of the dirt from our nails. We take a bar of ordinary soap, better than household soap. Gently moisten it so that it becomes damp and scratch, driving the soap under your nails. This will prevent dirt from getting under the nails, and at the end of the field work, the soap will be easily washed off.

We do the same operation with toenails. Then we slightly moisten the soap, thoroughly lather our feet, and rub the soap until it dries completely, so that it looks like “soap socks”. Not foamy at all! The soap should not be very wet! We subject our hands to the same procedure. That is, now we have soap under our nails (just do not overdo it, otherwise it will hurt a little under the nails!), And hands and feet in soapy "gloves" and "socks".

The only disadvantage of this method is that the soap dries the skin. Therefore, take a soap containing cream, or after you wash everything off, lubricate your hands and feet with cream.

Second trick

If the soap dries the skin very much, then instead of it you can apply greasy, glycerin or any other cream that forms a film on the skin of the hands and feet. The only drawback of this method is that before gardening work, you will need to wait 20-30 minutes until the cream is completely absorbed into the hands and feet. After the product is absorbed, you can start working. Upon completion of all matters, it will be enough for you to wash your hands and feet under running warm water and soap and all the dirt will be easily washed off.

The third trick

Many pharmacies nowadays sell a special cream called "artificial gloves". Apply it on your hands and leave it to dry completely. Everything, you can get to work.

After you have done all that needs to be done, simply rinse the artificial gloves with running water.

The fourth trick

When purchasing various summer cottage goods, we also buy special hand paste. Before work, we lubricate our hands thoroughly, especially carefully apply the paste near the nails. Thanks to this tool, hands do not dry from the ground and practically do not get dirty. That is, after all the work, you will not have a problem with hand washing.

If you still worked without gloves, without following the above tips, then what can you do? How to wash your hands?

The easiest way: take any product containing acid (sorrel, lemon, tomato), cut (knead it), rub heavily soiled areas, including nails, hold it on your hands for 5-7 minutes, then crush it. Hands and nails will be cleaned.

If there is nothing fruit and vegetable, then you can make a citric acid solution. Stir 1 teaspoon of citric acid in a glass of water until it is completely dissolved, then pour it into a bowl convenient for immersion of hands, put your hands in the liquid, keep it for several minutes and wash it with soap.

To "pick out" the dirt from under the nails, you can use the most ordinary toothbrush (I always buy a new one for this purpose, I have it specially for nails). Apply a little soap to the brush and gently rub under the nails, then clean the nail plate. Everything, nails are clean.
