New Year is called a family holiday. And what could be more family-like than gathering all the relatives to celebrate the New Year outside the city at the dacha, where neither the Internet, nor television, nor video games distract from communication with loved ones. And you can start with a festive winter interior decoration

We transform everyday little things

To ensure the New Year's mood, sometimes it is enough to add a few decorative details to the interior. Moreover, at the dacha, you can use various improvised materials that will very well fit into the New Year's story. For example, various empty pots, buckets, baskets. It is worth filling them with cones painted in bright red with long twigs, adding a few small spruce twigs or just short shoots - and their everyday appearance will immediately change.

Surely in the country there are several empty half-liter glass jars. They can serve as original candlesticks. But in order to give them a more sophisticated look, they should be decorated. For example, cut out silhouettes of Christmas trees, houses from fabric or paper and paste over the jar around the circumference with them. When lighting a candle, the windows of houses will glow very beautifully.

There are other interesting ways to decorate cans as well. For this, silhouettes of trees, the contours of snowflakes are applied with glue and sprinkled with salt or small grains - they will stick and serve as an interesting decoration. Even red threads wrapped around the jars several times will give such candlesticks a New Year's look. And so that the candle inside does not tilt, it is glued to the bottom with melted wax and, for reliability, a little peas or beans are poured into the jar. Such elements are suitable for decorating a fireplace, table, dressers.

As for New Year's toys, they can easily be replaced by other elements. You can decorate the Christmas tree with garlands of candies in shiny wrappers, decorate with homemade cookies in the form of stars and snowmen, hang tangerines on the branches. Twigs decorated with bows made of satin ribbons will look original. The same can be tied to the handles of cups, they can be tied with cutlery when setting the table.

Decorating a window is as easy as shelling pears

When it is snowing outside the window, willy-nilly, the New Year's mood comes by itself. But what about when there is bare earth or even slush outside the window? Then you will have to take care of yourself so that when you look at it, you will have to take care of yourself. A very popular solution is to use sprayers and paint the glass surface through a stencil with snowmen, intricate frosty patterns, a chariot with deer, in which Santa Claus is hurrying to us with gifts.

You can make such drawings with toothpaste. To do this, the hygiene product needs to be slightly diluted with water so that it is more convenient for them to paint, and then it is easier to rinse off. You can use a brush and apply images of fir branches with toys and other drawings to the glass. And when there were several unnecessary newspapers at hand, you can cut out stencils of snowflakes from them, glue them to the windows with a soapy solution, and then sprinkle this area with a paste solution. When the drops are dry, the stencil is removed, and a beautiful impression of the glued figure remains on the stack.

Another original way to decorate a window, as well as protect yourself from drafts and cold indoors, is to use insulation toys. They have a decorative look and you can pick up figures in the New Year's style. If you have the skills of sewing, knitting, you can create them yourself. Moreover, they do not have to be in the traditional form - an elk sitting on a twine, Santa Claus or snowmen standing in a row. You can sew insulation in the form of a long narrow pillow of colorful patches and decorate them with simple appliqués in the form of Christmas trees, embroider simple snowflakes.
