Structural features
Anemonella belongs to the buttercup family, got its name for its resemblance to its closest relative. A miniature copy of the structure of the flower resembles an anemone.
The root is represented by small tubers. Smooth, erect, reddish stem ends with single inflorescences. The leaf is curved, dark green, soft, divided into 3 plates. The height of the bush does not exceed 15 cm.

Growing conditions
Anemonella prefers loose, organic-rich soils. On clay soils, sand, peat, humus are introduced into the root zone. Planting is mulched with sawdust, straw, peat.
A moderately humid environment is created by timely watering. A drainage layer of small pebbles or a layer of sand under the roots of the plant is mandatory. Areas with a close groundwater table and wetlands are not suitable for growing bushes.
Feels good under the shade of deciduous trees. The best place is scattered partial shade, which allows you to extend the flowering and growing season.
The bushes are frost-resistant, winter well without additional shelter under the snow.
Reproduction
Seed propagation is preferable with non-double varieties. (Mature plants do not tolerate transplanting well.)
Small grains are sown in the fall in prepared beds. Lightly sprinkling them with earth. In winter, the seeds undergo natural stratification.
In early spring, the bed is covered with a film through the arcs. The emerging seedlings in the phase of 3-4 leaves are planted in a permanent place. It is impossible to hesitate with this procedure, otherwise the percentage of plant survival will decrease.
Root division is used only on varieties with double inflorescences. The procedure is planned for the fall, when the anemonella is at rest. Dig out the bush completely. They carefully separate the particles from each other, trying to disturb the roots less.
A shallow fossa is formed. Water the planting site with water. Transfer the divisions to a new place. Sprinkle with humus, compact the soil around the plants. Sticks are placed to indicate the landing. Shoots appear in the spring.
The curtains grow very slowly, therefore, the division is used no earlier than 1 time in 5 years.
Care
Moderate watering is especially necessary during dry periods during the growing season of plants. Lack of water adversely affects the flowering process. Excess - leads to root rot. Therefore, try to stick to the "golden mean".
Top dressing is applied in early spring when the green mass grows and during the flowering period. Complex fertilizers "Kemira Lux" or "Health for Flowers" a tablespoon in a bucket of liquid.
Loosening the top layer of the soil allows you to clear the site of weeds, close the evaporation of moisture. The mulching layer of humus will create a favorable microclimate for the root system.
The delicate leaves of anemonella attract slugs and garden snails. Fresh sawdust scattered around the bushes will become an obstacle for pests. Collecting daily will reduce their numbers. In large quantities, metaldehyde is used.
