Under natural conditions, eyebright is found on the territory of the European part of Russia, Moldova, Belarus, the Altai and Obsk regions of Western Siberia, the Yenisei and Angara-Sayan regions of Eastern Siberia, as well as in the Crimea, the Carpathians and the Dnieper region of Ukraine. For growth, this plant prefers meadows.
Description of the medicinal properties of eyebright
Eyebright short-haired is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. Grass includes flowers, leaves and stems. The presence of such valuable medicinal properties should be explained by the content of phenol carboxylic acids, flavonoids, coumarins, tannins, carotenoids, iridoid aucubin and isocatalpol in this plant.
