The drooping resin is a perennial herbaceous dioecious plant endowed with a fluffy, drooping and glandular-sticky stem, the height of which will fluctuate between thirty and sixty centimeters. The basal leaves of this plant are spatulate and are arranged in the form of a rosette, while the stem leaves will be sharp and linear lanceolate. The flowers of the drooping resin will be drooping and creamy white in color, while the petals are collected in a lone panicle and will be endowed with a notched limb. The fruit of this plant is an oval-conical box in shape.

The blooming of the wilted resin falls on the period from May to August. Under natural conditions, this plant is found in Belarus, the Caucasus, Altai, Ukraine and many regions of the European part of Russia. For growth, the drooping smole prefers sparse forests.

Description of the medicinal properties of wilted resin

The drooping resin is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the herb of this plant for medicinal purposes. Grass includes leaves, stems and flowers. Such medicinal raw materials should be procured in the period from June to July.

The presence of such valuable medicinal properties should be explained by the content of triterpene nutanoside saponin in the roots of this plant, while saponins and the following flavonoids will be present in the herb: homoorientin, vitexen, orientin, vicenin and isovitexin.

This plant has the ability to provide a very effective hemostatic, analgesic, antitoxic and anti-inflammatory effects. The infusion, prepared on the basis of the wilted resin herb, is indicated for use in a depressed state. A decoction based on the herb of this plant should also be used as a rinse for toothache.

As for external use, a strong aqueous infusion prepared on the basis of drooping resin is indicated for use in the form of washings and lotions for various inflammatory processes, including erysipelas.

In the form of compresses, washings and lotions for various inflammatory processes, it is recommended to use the following very effective healing agent based on this plant: for the preparation of such a drug, you will need to take two teaspoons of resin drooping herb for one full glass of boiling water. The resulting mixture should first be left to infuse for about two hours, after which this mixture based on this plant must be very thoroughly filtered. In addition to using it in the form of lotions, washings and compresses, it is quite acceptable to take such a drug based on the drooping resin from three to four times a day, one tablespoon at a time for various inflammatory processes. Subject to proper application, such a healing agent based on the drooping resin will be very effective, and the positive result will be noticeable quite quickly.
