This Saturday, November 2, the festival "National Unity Day" starts in the capital. This year it will be held at 9 festival venues in the Moscow Seasons cycle of city street events (November 2-4) and at 21 venues in Moscow parks (November 4)
What to do on a long weekend? More than 150 performances by creative groups await guests of the festival: interactive performances, performances based on the fairy tales of the peoples of Russia (for example, the Moscow Historical and Ethnographic Theater will show the play "Terek History" - about everyday life, holidays and military exploits of Terek Cossacks, and the "Process" theater - " Tales of the peoples of the European part of Russia "and" Tales of the peoples of the Asian part of Russia "), as well as puppet shows, KVN (on the Revolution Square will perform the team" Let's be friends with families "), concerts of Rodion Gazmanov, singer Shena? cover and folk groups Jules Verne, Lyubo Milo, Nettle, Monkey Folk and a capella bands CoffeeTimeBand, Russian Acappella Band, performances of Moscow vocal and choreographic studios! November 2, Saturday
The first performances at the festival will start at 12.00! So, in the very center of the city, on Manezhnaya Square, at this time the premiere screening of an immersive performance by director Sergei Kotyukh starts. This performance is a great trip across all Russia, which will be interesting for both children and adults! According to the author's idea, the three main characters - the merchant and his sons Ivan and Yaroslav - as well as the guests of the festival, will visit eight Russian federal districts. More than 40 artists in bright folk costumes will present national songs and dances, ask riddles and offer to play games popular in every region.
You can watch this performance on all days of the festival - November 2, 3 and 4, at 12:00, 14:00, 16:00 and 18:00.

On November 2, at 12:00 (and also on November 3, at 19:00), on the stage of the site on Revolution Square, all lovers of humorous performances will be awaited by the members of the KVN team “Let's be friends with families”. The program includes bright and unexpected sketches on the topic of relationships in the family, between friends and lovers. It will be fun!
Further on this site, a concert program awaits guests! From 13:00 to 19:00, you can listen to the performance of the Polyane folklore ensemble (the repertoire of this group includes songs of various genres to the accompaniment of string instruments: balalaikas, guitars and violins), as well as author's poems and songs about Moscow performed by wonderful artists - laureates of Russian and international competitions of vocal skills. And at 19:00 Rodion Gazmanov will perform his hits for the guests of the festival (by the way, it will also be possible to listen to the performances of this performer on November 3, at 18:00 on Glory Square and on November 4, at the same time, on Profsoyuznaya Street).
On the stage of the site on Orekhovy Boulevard, at 15:00, the Zolotaya Rybka Theater will delight you with the play "The Tales of the Soldier Fyodor". This is a production based on Russian folk tales ("Porridge from an ax", "Tops and roots" and "Broken unbeaten is lucky"). Interactive elements will not leave the audience indifferent, and bright decorations and original musical background will make the viewing unforgettable. Live Russian folk instruments sound in the performance.
Even more amazing fairy tales - Fairy Tales of the European Part of Russia, at 4 pm, and Fairy Tales of the Asian Part of Russia, at 5 pm - await guests on Dmitry Donskoy Boulevard, where bright and exciting performances of the Process Theater will take place on November 2. And at 18.00 here we will watch the production of "The Mistress of the Copper Mountain" performed by the artists of the "Impromptu" theater!
On Matveevskaya street at 16:00 we meet the ensemble of the Cossack song "Free People" - unbroken authentic and modern folklore, accompanied by the playing of such instruments as the lute guitar, bass domra, marching drum, doira, button accordion and balalaika. The program will be continued by energetic folk and cover versions of famous hits in

performed by the teams Monkey Folk (at 17.00), CoffeeTimeBand (at 18.00) and Jules Verne (at 19.00).
The popular singer SHENA? Will perform on Profsoyuznaya Street on November 2, at 18.00 (as well as on Pererva Street, November 3, and Matveevskaya Street, November 4, at the same time).
As always at the festivals of the Moscow Seasons cycle, guests will have a huge selection of master classes. For example, on Shkolnaya Street, in the House of Painting, we learn everything about the origin of patterns and ornaments from different regions. At 13:00 - we will get acquainted with the Zyryan ornaments and learn how to paint with gouache. At 15:00 here we will master the Petersburg painting and learn to paint with acrylics.
On Profsoyuznaya street, in the Crafts workshop, we will get acquainted with the enamel craft, we will paint the caskets and pendants using the technique of miniature painting (at 13:00 and 16:00). And at the local Culinary School, we will bake a Lipetsk strudel with apples and berries (at 14.00) and cook Altai kocho soup (at 15:00).
November 3, Sunday
The second day of the festival will be no less eventful! For vivid emotions and good mood, we will hurry to the district festive grounds!
On Profsoyuznaya Street we offer to get acquainted with the creativity of the young theater "Orange Sky". Strong drama, non-standard acting, bright costumes and music make the performances of the collective unforgettable. This time the guests will see the performance "Folk Tales", which starts at 15:00. And from 4 pm to 8 pm, guests of this venue will see a concert featuring the Russian Acappella Band, DaVinci and other performers!
It will also be possible to listen to original folk and pop music performed by bands of different character and style on Orekhovy Boulevard: at 16:00 the Krapiva band performs here, at 17.00 - the Moscow Village Band, at 18:00 - CoffeeTimeBand and at 19.00 - the Jules Verne group!
On Dmitry Donskoy Boulevard at 16:00, the Kotofey Puppet Theater will present a cheerful performance "Not quite a teremok". At 17.00 we watch

The "Marvelous Things" of the Orange Sky Theater is a performance for the whole family, with a lot of Russian folk music, songs and dances. And the little guests of the festival at the end of the performance will be able to dance and play together with the fairy-tale characters! And at 18:00 here you can also watch the performance of "The New Adventures of the Little Housewife Kuzi" performed by the artists of the Theater Studio "Alkor".
On the same site, in the Crafts workshop at 15.00 and 17.00 it will be possible to participate in the master class "Artistic ceramics" and to master the techniques of decorative painting of clay products, which is used in the Khabarovsk Territory. And at the "Kitchen of the Regions of Russia" we will get acquainted with recipes for various pastries. For example, at 14.00 we bake “gubadia” - a traditional pie with a multilayer filling, which is very popular in the Republic of Bashkortostan, and at 16.00 we prepare “perepechki” (cheesecakes stuffed with vegetables according to an old Udmurt recipe).
On Orekhovy Boulevard and Pererva Street, lovers of applied classes will be interested in visiting the Carpentry Workshops and creating curious interior items and wooden toys with their own hands! Classes will run from 13.00 to 18.45.
November 4, Monday
On the final day of the festival, be sure to visit the performance "Terskaya History" of the Moscow Historical and Ethnographic Theater, which will begin at 15:00 on the stage of Revolution Square. A beautiful, musical, spectacular performance will not leave indifferent even the most sophisticated spectator. The performance will tell about life, customs, everyday life and holidays and, of course, the military exploits of the Cossacks who have lived since the 16th century in the North Caucasus, on the Terek coast. Spectators will see the ceremonies of seeing off the Russian-Turkish war, pre-wedding parties, original Cossack costumes - burqas, beshmets, hats, bashlyks, Circassians. They will hear Cossack songs and romances. Well, the evening will continue with the performances of the bands "Lyubo-Milo", "Free People", CoffeeTimeBand and DaVinci. The festive concert will last until 20.00.
On Orekhovy Boulevard, at 16.00. we meet young artists of the children's studio of the musical "Allegro": the children will present their bright vocal and dance program to the guests of the festival. And at 18:00 ArtEventCenter Group of Companies

Adults and young fans of theatrical performances will be interested in Dmitry Donskoy Boulevard! At 17.00 there will be a show of the play "Fly-Tsokotukha" performed by the artists of the theater "Impromptu", and at 18.00 - an interactive musical performance "The record is spinning" (GC "ArtEventCenter").
And on Glory Square all evening - from 4 pm to 8 pm - we dance to the hits performed by the groups "Sorrel", Monkey Folk, Russian Acappella Band and ARRIVA!
Let us remind you that on November 4, city parks will also join the National Unity Day festival program!
In Zaryadye Park, festive events will take place from 12:00 to 18:00. Here guests will find concerts, relay races, round dances and master classes. Be sure to visit the local photo studio: there you can try on national costumes and take an instant photo.
At 13:00 in Lianozovsky Park, performances of musical groups will begin, in parallel, sports relay races and exciting quests will take place. The festive program will last until 16:00.
In Perovsky Park from 14.00 guests will see a performance by the "Soul of Russia" ensemble, dance master classes, contests and quizzes.
Well, in Vorontsov Park from 17:00 to 20:00, guests will be able to test their dexterity and accuracy by participating in ancient games and amusements.

From 2 to 4 November in the capital, for the third time, the festival "National Unity Day" will be held.
