Holiday recipes for New Year's drinks

On New Year's Eve, you always want to pamper yourself with something tasty and original. This applies not only to food, but also to drinks. We suggest taking note of a few recipes for delicious New Year's and Christmas drinks for children and adults

During the long New Year holidays, there is time for delicious experiments. Why not try some new winter drink recipes? They differ from summer ones with a spicy and warming taste. Here are some ideas:

Spiced tea

In winter, you want to warm yourself up with hot and aromatic drinks. Tea is one of the best options. But a drink familiar to everyone can be made more original and tastier if you add a mixture of aromatic spices to it.

Ingredients:

- 4.5 glasses of plain water, - 10 bags of classic black tea, - a piece of fresh ginger about 5-7 cm, - 2 tablespoons brown sugar

- 10 pods of cardamom (can be in powder - 2 tablespoons), - half a teaspoon of ground pepper, - half a teaspoon of nutmeg powder, - one sprig of vanilla, - 5 stars of anise, - 3 cinnamon sticks, - some cinnamon powder for decoration.

Cooking method:

Combine the listed ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. As soon as the mixture boils, you need to reduce the heat and simmer for an hour. After that, the drink can be drunk, adding sugar if necessary. Then its remains are poured into a glass bottle, which is stored in the refrigerator. If desired, you can take it out and heat it along with a small amount of milk (in an approximate ratio of 50/50). Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the drink.

Yummy eggnog

In the West, it is one of the most popular drinks for Christmas and New Years. It can be both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Here, for example, is the second option:

Ingredients:

- 4 egg yolks, - 2 glasses of milk, - a glass of cream, - half a glass of sugar, - a teaspoon of vanilla extract (or powder), - a teaspoon of grated nutmeg, - 2 solid carnation sprockets, - a pinch of cinnamon, - (option for adults - you can add two tablespoons of whiskey or brandy).

Cooking method:

Using a whisk, beat the egg yolks and slowly add sugar to them until a light and airy consistency is obtained. In a separate saucepan, combine the cloves, cinnamon and milk, then bring to a boil and immediately remove from heat. The milk mixture should be slowly added to the egg mixture, whisking constantly. Then the resulting solution is poured into a saucepan and heated over medium heat, stirring until the drink thickens. It is important to prevent the liquid from boiling and clotting. After the drink becomes thick enough, it is removed from the heat, filtered, cream is added and allowed to cool. After cooling, it is mixed with nutmeg and vanilla (you can add a little alcohol).
