If you like semi-finished products or, for example, smoked or fatty ones, then it is better to refuse such dishes on New Year's Eve. The monkey will be delighted with snacks, fresh vegetables, low-fat meals, and a lot of fruits and sweets
Cheese balls
An excellent snack that will please not only the Monkey, but all households and guests will be
"Cheese balls"
Required Ingredients:
Ham - 150 g, cheese (any hard) - 150 g, bread crumbs (white), egg white, mayonnaise - 1 tbsp. l.
Cooking process:
Three cheese and ham on a fine grater. We mix. Add a tablespoon of mayonnaise to the resulting mixture. We mix.
We take a plate of water. In it we moisten our hands and divide the resulting mixture into a uniform mass (35 - 40 grams each). Then we roll the resulting mass into balls. Soak each ball first in egg white and then in breadcrumbs.
Then we cook deep fat. To do this, heat 300 grams of sunflower oil. After the liquid heats up, send the balls there. They need to be taken out in a minute. The balls worked out if they didn't burst. Decorate the dish with herbs, you can serve it with sauce.
For dressing you will need: traditional (natural) yogurt, herbs (dill, onions), lemon, soy sauce, garlic.
Rub the garlic on a fine grater and add it to the yogurt. Finely chop the greens there. Add some salt, lemon and soy sauce. The filling is ready.
Baked fish
A hot dish should be present on the New Year's table. Here the ideal option would be
baked fish (or grilled in a pan).
Once a year, you can pamper yourself, for example, with trout or salmon, but if in your store it is too expensive or such fish is not available, you can replace it with pink salmon. Which, by the way, is what I plan to do.
Required Ingredients:
Fillet of pink salmon - 500 g (4 small portions), salt, pepper (ground black), herbs (to taste), lemon, garlic.
If you plan to bake the fish, place the whole piece in a deep dish or sheet so that the spices are evenly applied to it. Next, sprinkle the fillet with lemon, grate the garlic there, sprinkle with salt and ground pepper. If you wish, add greens there. Rub the mixture evenly over the fish. Refrigerate the marinated fillets for 25-30 minutes. After the right time is up, wrap the fish in a double layer of foil. Send to an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
If you have a grill pan or other pan in which you can fry fish without oil, then you can use it. Divide the fillet into several pieces. Start frying from the outside (this will prevent the dish from becoming crumbly and retain its shape). Serve with herbs.
Fruit salad
We have already said that the Monkey loves fruits and sweets, so there must be

Required Ingredients:
Pomegranate (medium) - 1 pc, kiwi - 3-4 (small), grapes (black, green, red) - 100 g each, orange - 1 pc, banana - 2 pcs, apple (red sweet) - 1 pc, dark chocolate (95%), cinnamon (ground), natural yogurt (no additives).
Cut all the fruits into cubes and mix in a salad bowl, and divide the pomegranate bit by bit and send to the total mass. Next, we prepare the dressing: rub the dark chocolate into the yogurt, add cinnamon there. Season the fruit with this mixture. Thus, you will get an interesting combination of flavors: pomegranate and kiwi will bring sourness to the dishes, chocolate - pleasant bitterness, apple and banana - sweetness.
It is better to prepare such a dish in small quantities and before serving.
