Another weed plant that is unforgivable to ignore is the perennial "Clove root", called by botanists "Gravilat urban". Five yellow petals of relatively large single flowers can be found at the edge of the forest, along dusty country roads, in spruce and alder forests, in your own garden or vegetable garden. Its aromatic root can easily replace the overseas spice called "cloves" in the kitchen, and will also help to overcome a number of ailments
Varieties of gravilat
Among the many types of gravilat, we will single out three:
1.
Gravilat city - blooming from May to July with five-petal yellow flowers, growing in forests, forest edges and weedy places.
2.
River gravilat - white-pink drooping flowers of which can be found on weakly acidic fertile soils, lying along the edges of swamps, river banks and humid places of deciduous forests.
3.
Gravilat bright red - an ornamental perennial plant, unpretentious to conditions and care, which can be used to decorate a rabat or other type of flower garden.
Description of the city gravilat
The main value of a perennial plant is a bright brown thick rhizome with a spicy smell. It was his aroma that gave the plant another name - "Clove root". From the rhizome to the sun, an erect stem strives, reaching 60 centimeters in height. The stem is slightly branched and covered at the top with short soft hairs.
Basal leaves form a rosette at the base of the plant, have long petioles and are composed of several beautiful carved leaves. The stem itself is covered with a few trifoliate leaves, pubescent on both sides, with short petioles.
The branches and main stem end in relatively large single flowers. They have five yellow petals, wide open to the world, like little suns.
The fruit is a shaggy multi-root.
The healing properties of the plant
Both the aboveground and underground parts of the city and river gravilata are rich in healing properties. They are due to the content in the leaves and rhizome of tannins and bitter substances, cardiac glycoside genin, resin, essential oil, starch.
Decoctions and infusions of gravilat have astringent, antiseptic, wound healing, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, expectorant, diaphoretic, tonic, restorative effects.
Preparation of medicinal raw materials
Gravilata herb is ready to be harvested as a medicinal raw material at the beginning of flowering. It is cut with sharp scissors to a height of 15 centimeters. The grass is dried in ventilated rooms protected from the sun. Store it for no more than a year in paper bags or jars.
Rhizomes are dug up according to the general principle of harvesting roots, that is, either late in autumn or early spring. After thoroughly washing the raw material, it is wilted in the sun, and then dried in the shade of ventilated sheds. Signs of readiness of raw materials for storage are their fragility (easily breaks down), tart aftertaste and spicy clove aroma. You can store it for no more than three years in closed containers.
Recipe for Nervous System Support

When ready, we filter the tincture and an hour after eating we drink a tablespoon of the healing drink.

Beet Root Aphid - A Thunderstorm Of Root Crops
Beet root aphid is an ubiquitous pest that attacks quinoa and other swan plants in addition to beets. It is considered especially dangerous because in a relatively short period of time from May to October, it is capable of giving from eight to ten generations. As a rule, the number of these parasites increases markedly in July and August. The vegetation attacked by them withers and dies, which adversely affects the harvest of long-awaited root crops
