Mistakes in covering plants for the winter

Winter, as usual in Russian regions, is long, cold, with sharp temperature changes, cold strong winds, and lots of snow, requiring some types of horticultural crops to be sheltered during the cold season. For sheltering each culture, its own technologies for sheltering for the winter have been developed. Leaving a bare patch error

It is believed that leaving the soil in the garden and in the garden "naked", without planting brings positive aspects, such as freezing insects in them, baking their larvae in the hot winter sun, and so on. A mistake in whitewashing trees

Most often, gardeners whitewash tree trunks already in the winter. However, it is more correct to do this in the fall. After all, whitewashing is nothing more than protecting the plant from diseases, damage by insects, rodents.
