Description of the high walker

The tall walker is an annual or biennial herb, endowed with a straight and rather branched stem, the height of which will be about forty to seventy centimeters. The leaves of this plant are pinnately dissected, and the upper leaves are endowed with threadlike lobes. The flowers will be quite numerous, they are four-membered and are in the racemes. The flowers of the tall walker are endowed with six stamens and rather large petals, painted in yellow tones. The fruits of this plant are bare pods, endowed with bare stalks.

Under natural conditions, this plant can be found on the territory of the European part of Russia, in all Arctic regions of Europe, as well as in the Altai region of Western Siberia, in Belarus, Moldova, the Caucasus, Ukraine and Central Asia. As for the general distribution, here the plant can be found in North Africa, Asia Minor, Central and Southern Europe, as well as on the Balkan Peninsula.

For growth, this plant prefers nutrient-rich soils, and seed germination most often occurs at a temperature of eighteen to twenty degrees Celsius. It should be noted that this plant can be found in fields, vegetable gardens, fallow lands, as well as along roads.

Description of the medicinal properties of the high walker

The tall walker is endowed with very valuable healing properties, while it is recommended to use the flowers and leaves of this plant for medicinal purposes. The presence of such valuable properties of this plant is explained by the content of rubber, vitamin C, flavonoids and cardenolides in it. At the same time, fatty oil is found in the seeds of the tall walker.

As an astringent and antiscorbutic agent, it is recommended to use an infusion prepared on the basis of the leaves and herbs of this plant. As for the young shoots of this plant, they can be used as a substitute for spinach and lettuce. The seeds of this plant can be used to obtain a fatty oil.

With vitamin deficiency, you can also use the healing properties of the high walleye. To prepare a fairly effective remedy based on this plant, you will need to take two tablespoons of crushed high walker leaves for one glass of boiling water.
