So summer has come and we are increasingly getting out to the dacha: someone to work, someone to relax, sunbathe, eat a barbecue and just breathe in the fresh air, and someone takes the children away from the bustle of the city and polluted air. On a trip, we take a bunch of stuff with us, but very often we forget about the first-aid kit
And it is very important, because sometimes the unexpected happens: an insect has bitten and allergic edema has begun, cut or scratched, the temperature has risen from the sun or food poisoning. So what to take with you to the dacha of medicines? I will not write the names of the drugs, since the tolerance of drugs is individual for each, I will just voice the groups.
First of all, put in the medicine cabinet those medicines that are prescribed by your doctor for regular use! And take them not strictly for the calculation, but with a small margin of 3-4 days.
What to take with you to your first aid kit?
Now let's start with what is needed most often - an antiseptic, a bandage, an adhesive plaster. They are irreplaceable helpers for wounds, scratches, abrasions. By the way, here, just in case, you need to put a tourniquet so that, if necessary, it is at hand. And put small office scissors in the same bag or compartment. They are needed in order to cut off a plaster or bandage.
Small safety pin, tweezers, liquid disinfectant. This kit is useful for removing splinters, especially deeply driven ones. If the splinter is not removed in time, then an abscess will begin, painful, twitching and unpleasant.
Antipyretic for adults and children. It doesn't matter whether it is liquid, tablets, or powders, it is important that it is right for you and your loved ones. Temperatures can rise from anything from overheating in the sun, sunburn to poisoning, so to avoid rushing around looking for help, put an antipyretic for children and adults in your medicine cabinet.
A remedy like rehydron that can replenish the salt balance if an adult or child suddenly has food poisoning or an upset stomach. Put anti-vomiting and diarrhea remedies in the same bag or compartment. Put more than one bag of diarrhea remedies, so that there is enough for the time until you get to the hospital.
Allergy remedy. It is desirable both for oral administration (syrups, tablets, capsules, drops) and for external use (ointments, creams), since sometimes insect bites give an allergic reaction and it is important to take medicine for allergies and lubricate the bite site in order to avoid the appearance of severe edema.
Remedies for sunburn. Any panthenol-containing creams, sprays, emulsions, those that you like the most. It is important that you have them in your first aid kit so that you can use them at the first sign of sunburn.
Sometimes at the most inopportune moment the head, tooth, ear begins to ache. For these cases, take with you any pain reliever that works for you and your loved ones.
Pharmacy organizer
It will be very convenient if you divide the funds into sachets or compartments in the medicine cabinet and sign each bag or compartment. I put it in sachets, then glue a piece of cloth adhesive on the sachet and write on it what is in the sachet. This will save you time and won't have to open each bag looking for the right product.
Important! Before collecting a first-aid kit for a trip to the country, please consult with a physician or pediatrician about the tolerance and dosage of this or that medication for you and children
And remember to be careful, washing your hands, fruits, berries and vegetables, good sunscreen, and hats will help make your vacation more comfortable and less hazardous. Relax with pleasure!
