The calculation is made as follows: 30 cm on each side goes beyond the projection of the entrance space (only 60 cm), the length should cover the steps (from 30 cm). To achieve comfort, it is planned to install a drainage system, this is especially important on straight slopes.

The type of fastening depends on the shape of the roof, since it is this moment that determines the snow load in winter. Reinforced supports require a straight pitched roof. The graceful frame is suitable for hip, gable or arched roofs, since the snow will not linger on them, and will fall off arbitrarily.

Choosing a material for the visor

Fastening polycarbonate

Installation of polycarbonate requires some knowledge. Cutting sheets should be done on a smooth surface with a sharp knife, if the thickness is more than 8 mm, circular and fine-toothed discs are used. When bending, take into account the location of the air passages. The outer foil-coated side must be laid out. All work takes place without removing the protective film and in the warm season.

It is important to follow the rules of fastening: holes for thermal washers (self-tapping screws) are made with a gap of 2-3 mm in excess, drilled between the ribs with a step of 30 cm. Fixation to the frame is easy, without constrictions. To bend the layer, you need to attach a profile to one side along the stiffening channels and give the desired shape. On the finished product, the ends are always closed with a sealing tape.
