About the drainage system

Additional accessories improve functionality, for this purpose clamps, brackets, couplings, angle connectors, drain elbows, plugs, and tips are purchased.
How to calculate and choose material
Before starting work, the required amount of all raw materials is calculated. This takes into account the height from the ground, the possible distance from the house to the receiving tank. To the length of the side part of the roof, you need to add at least one meter to the projection of the gutter behind the projection of the roof, the docking nodes of the ends (for each element it will take 4-8 mm).
The length of the structure and the size of the receiving parts should be sufficient to receive precipitation according to the area of the slope, usually these are oval troughs with sections of 75-90 mm (100, 120, 150). If the roof area is not more than 140 sq. m, buy a 90 mm gutter, and for a drain pipe choose a diameter of 75 mm. Area 140-280 sq. m - the gutter should be 130 mm, the pipe - 100 mm. For a more accurate calculation, there is a formula of 1 sq. meter of surface provides 1, 5 square meters. mm of the working section.
The number of funnels is purchased in proportion to the number of suction pipes. The diameter of the gutter must always coincide with the cross-section of the inlet channel, otherwise, at maximum loads, the water will not have time to drain from the horizontal elements. If there are no branch bends, then 1 fastener is planned for 3 m of the drain and at least 2 clamps are planned for fixing. Brackets are calculated one for every half meter.
When buying, the color is chosen according to the decoration of the house or the roof covering. Component materials are selected based on your preferences, for example:

Mechanism for installing gutters
Getting started is the installation of fasteners that are mounted with self-tapping screws to the rafter system or to the load-bearing wall. At this point, the required distance must be observed for the slope of the future pipe, since the water must freely go into the funnel, not overflow or accumulate in the gutter. The slope should provide a drain in such a way that debris and trapped leaves, which, in large quantities, can cause a blockage, go away with the water.
The bracket is installed so that the falling snow or ice does not break the edge of the gutter, and the water calmly falls there. The installation of the gutters is not difficult, since the fixation takes place by snapping. After that, the installation of the receiving funnels and downpipes begins. For convenience, the assembly of the structure is carried out first on the ground. For lifting and fastening, the presence of an assistant and two ladders is required. Today, all derived parts are assembled like a constructor, which greatly facilitates the creation process.
The last step is to secure the vertical drain pipe to the wall with clamps and brackets. The number of fastener parts is selected taking into account a reliable stable position. Next, a tip is installed to guide the flow.
It is always necessary to first think over the place of the drain in such a way that it is convenient to divert the flow to the drainage device.
