Reproduction of this plant occurs through seeds. It is recommended to sow seeds in early spring or in autumn directly into open ground. In addition, spring sowing in open ground is also possible, while the soil remains slightly frozen. It is noteworthy that self-seeding reproduction of ratibid can also occur. Even before sowing, seeds should be stratified for about a month or a month and a half. It is recommended to sow ratibide seeds for seedlings in the month of March. Seeds should be spread over the surface of the substrate, which should be both loose and moist. Then the plantings are lightly sprinkled with a layer of earth, and also slightly crushed. Seeds must be germinated in a bright place, while the temperature should be about twenty to twenty-five degrees Celsius. Watering such plantings is required as needed. Experts recommend planting such seedlings in open ground in the month of May. It is necessary to plant directly to a permanent place, which is due to the fact that this plant will rather poorly tolerate a transplant.
